New pan pizza is gross. They couldn’t even cook the cheese all the way through? A frozen pizza made at home tastes better. Stick to Domino’s if you want good pan pizza.

I placed an order on 11/8/25 as I walked through the doors to pick up my order I saw that there were many people waiting. I counted maybe 4 people working that night, it was very busy. Everyone working together but the young lady at the counter stood out as she was engaging customers, getting orders placing stickers on boxes. Handing out orders and checking on orders, truly this young lady stood out among others all while keeping her composure. I hope the owner and corporate have an opportunity to read this and know we need more people like this young lady, as she sets the bar high for customer service,work ethic and overall Rockstar. Great job young lady and team. Keep up the great work. Oh and also I know how hectic and over whelmed it can be. I to have worked at Papa John’s many years ago.

Lacked any real flavor. I’m pretty sure they forgot the garlic oil on the crust. Alfredo sauce was bland too. Be sure to walk in and not wait for a text message notification for when it is ready. By the time we got our carry out, it was already cold but didn’t receive a notification of when it was ready.

Have ordered delivery many times. Many times the pizzas are almost cooked. It’s always doughy in the middle and we always have to recook it at home. Would be great if they cooked it more in the restaurant before delivering.

First time eating at Papa John’s the pepperoni pizza is far the best then other places, the Hawaiian pizza is not the best Idk about other pizzas but definitely ordering here for the pepperoni.

One of the most positive experiences that left me with a warm heart and a smile knowing people are still caring and compassionate. Speaking of that I want to mention Angel (imagine the name) was such a good soul and I appreciate his compassion for people and his service was outstanding. And last but not least is Cassie whom is just compassionate both warm welcoming and need a raise. If I was treated like they treated me everyone would come enjoy your pizza everyday. My heart goes out to the rest of the crew that work there and know you are special too making it a positive experience for all that come there. June 2024: The store is clean, and the staff are friendly, but the pizza just doesn’t hit the mark. Not sure if they use the standard franchise recipe here.
I’m not claiming that Papa John’s is the best pizza in the world, but there’s definitely something special about the nostalgia. I’ve been a loyal fan of Papa John’s for over 20 years, enjoying it all across the country, so I know my pizza.
Since moving to Vancouver, I’ve visited this location three times, and each time it’s been off. To be sure it wasn’t just a local issue, I decided to try the Papa John’s in Orchards, but unfortunately, it’s confirmed—this place is not up to par.
The crust is flat and dense, almost as if it’s been over-kneaded or lacks yeast, and the sauce is noticeably sweeter, like something you’d find at Domino’s. Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if they were using a recipe from another chain.
