This Papa John’s isn’t billed for atmosphere so that’s why I only gave it two stars. It’s more of an in and out spot, but it’s right next door to a laundromat that is hands down the best smart tree facility in Los Angeles. It’s quiet, well maintained. Has a amazing bathroom and three TVs. They generally have one of the TVs with American program and the other two with Spanish program, but even the Spanish shows are really interesting, especially the soccer games. They have great clean machines that you can operate with an app and by doing so you save money. They have a feature on all these machines where you can extend the wash. It’s the super Wash and by choosing that instead of a wash that lasts 30 minutes to watch the last 45 and this is the main reason I like to go to this spot. The machines are all well maintained and serviced constantly the dryers. They clean them out to remove people’s gum and Gunk in the corners, but just back to those super wash. It gives you an extra rinse cycle so it allows you to actually put your detergent in in the beginning rinse cycle which is extended, get a really good wash and then it’s double rinsed. So if you have sensitive skin this is the best for you. I know I’m just talking a lot about this laundromat next door to the Papa John’s. The reason I mentioned it is because if you’re going to go to Papa John’s get a pizza and then go over and do some laundry that’s what I do

Absolutely terrible experience at this Papa John’s location. I waited over 10 minutes at the counter with no one even acknowledging me. Finally, a lady came out from the back looking annoyed, while one of the male workers stood nearby just chatting with someone, completely ignoring customers.
The worst part? After I placed my order, the woman didn’t even wash her hands before handling the pizza. That’s basic hygiene! In a food business, that’s completely unacceptable and honestly gross.
Won’t be coming back here again. If you care about cleanliness and customer service, I suggest you go somewhere else.

I visited this pizza place on Thanksgiving Day. When I walked in to place my order, there were only about five people there. However, the service was terrible. I ordered a cheese pizza with ranch dressing. I also didn’t get my receipt or was even asked for it. While it wasn’t too busy, it wasn’t too long before the pizza arrived. But when I asked for the ranch dressing, the worker went to get it, but instead of placing it on the counter, he tossed it to me. This was incredibly disrespectful and rude. I understand that it’s Thanksgiving Day and that people might not be in the best mood, but if you’re forced to work, you should at least be respectful to your customers. I’ve never had such awful service at a pizza place before. The workers looked exhausted and didn’t seem to care about their customers. No greeting. However, the food was good. The pizza was fresh and delicious.

Ordered Honey Chipotle boneless wings from this location. As you can see from the pictures, the wings were not tossed in sauce. I asked the manager, Marisela Cruz, if she could please toss the wings in sauce and she told me no – unless I wanted to be charged extra. I asked why would I be charged extra when the wings clearly aren’t tossed. I then showed her the photo of the wings in the app and she then says we only do “6 lines of sauce” in both directions. She then says “you can file a complaint, but I’m the manager so I don’t care,” implying that nothing will happen if I file a formal complaint. She’s probably right. Nothing will likely happen so I definitely won’t be returning here. It’s sad that people are trying to nickle and dime you over something as simple as tossing wings…like you paid them to do.

Do not eat from this location. Period. Just ordered via Doordash…pizzas have no sauce, stingy cheese, dry as hell. Chicken poppers have been reheated more than once — texture is rubbery. Garlic dipping sauce is expired and the peperoncinis are old and dry. The one slice I did eat now has my stomach in a knot. Process of elimination would say it’s the cheese — no sauce on the pizza to blame it on. To say this was a disappointment is an understatement. Trust me, I just did you a favor.

Disgusting way to start the day. Raw chicken bad pizza. Ordered 2 medium pizzas 2 toppings and chicken at 10:40am on 11/16/16. It gets here at 11:35am. This is the pepperoni and mushrooms that the girl said is properly portioned. The chicken was raw and smelled like it. Worried now that my 20 month old doesn’t get food poisoning. I only mentioned the pizza toppings to the girl and she started saying I was lying.when I told her that she’s making it worse by not offering me a new pizza or refund or coupon. “No you got what you orderd” didn’t even tell her the chicken was raw because when I said to her she was being ridiculous with the way she is trying to take care of Customers.”you’re being ridiculous do whatever you want to do it doesn’t matter .your posting ,call Customer service it doesn’t matter” has to be the worst papa John’s.

I just experienced the worst customer service in the history of my life from the most unprofessional group of people at Papa Johns located at 720 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029. I ordered a pizza on a Friday night as dinner for my family. 50 minutes later, I call to inquire about the status. A man tells me that the police have blocked the streets BUT he was able to get the order out and a free soda will be provided for the inconvenience. 30 minutes later I call to inquire again. The phone rang for a long time with no response. I called again. The same man picked up the phone and identified himself as the janitor this time. He told me that he was the one who initially sent the driver with the soda but if I didn’t receive it, my order was cancelled. When asking the janitor why I wasn’t informed after waiting for my order for an hour, the janitor yelled that I was “disrespecting him.” He said he was the only person at the location and everybody else went home. This man asked for me to call the next day for a refund. Why is this location allowing janitors to take orders and bark at people after Papa Johns takes their money and cancels the orders WITHOUT informing the customers? I called the next day and got my refund from the manager and I also complained about the individual with the attitude adjustment problem that needs anger management courses. The manager told me that they’ve “received complains about the man before.” I wonder why he hasn’t been fired yet. I will NEVER order a pizza from Papa Johns ever again. I will tell my friends, family and coworkers what happened, to avoid the Vermont location and to order from somewhere else. What a nightmare. A simple phone call would have prevented my very first review. No communication skills whatsoever.
