The pizza was really good, the girl working was sweet but the marinara sauce for the cheese sticks tasted like straight up vodka/tequila. Smelled so strong of it, and tasted like it extremely bad. As someone who’s 4 months pregnant, this was a nice scare and I’m sure it wasn’t anything but I had 4 other people smell and taste it, and they all agreed that it smelled/tasted like vodka too. It was extremely liquidy too, not to mention. I’m not sure, maybe it wasn’t a big issue but just a small warning incase anyone else had the same issues.

$9.99 3 topping pizza, unless you want any of the toppings on the side, then they charge per side topping :(. For example I like anchovies, not my family, one child likes jalapenos) so I asked for them on the side and was quoted $14. Next time I should have had them top each quarter of the pizza different to get the 9.99 deal. Instead I settled at just a pepperoni.

White substance on my pizza im not sure what it is but I don’t trust it but this is the last time I order from this place. The employees are rude like they don’t wanna be there working and making pizzas, ordered this only for me to find out it when It arrives home. I lost money on this and they lost a customer. Sad because I’ve been living here for over 25 years and this is the only papa John’s but there’s over 10 pizza places here In Flagstaff.

This pizza is no longer acceptable. Over the past few months, we get nothing but cold tasteless pizza with zero toppings. It is sad. This used to be our go to quick, easy, and frugal option. We are done!

This Papa John’s is a real disappointment in all honesty.
I ordered a stuffed-crust pizza with as much cheese as legally possible to be delivered, and it really fell short. Not only did the employee on the phone not offer any coupons or up-sell anything to me, but they also skimped on the cheese.
The total came to $30 for a SINGLE PIZZA that didn’t even come as ordered. Disappointed.

So, love my regular pizza at PJ’s. Thought I would give the new Calzone crust a try since I love Calzones. It was really bad. First off, it came well done like I asked, and the main crust was still was floppy and tasted uncooked in the stuffed part. The ricotta mix was just gross. I really wanted to like it, but it is a hard pass in future.

Supposed to get 10 bread sticks, checked my order in the parking lot and only got 8. Husband went back in and they said they won’t do anything. So it’s okay not giving customers what they paid for???
