This location on Five Mile in Boise is a disaster….Waited for an hour in the lobby for take-out when the app said order was ready. Assistant manager & two employees never acknowledged me or any other customers waiting in the lobby to pick up orders—they wouldn’t look at people, answer questions, answer the phone, or look people in the eye. Orders for Door Dash and carry-out customers sat on the shelf; no one came off the line to read out the names of orders that were ready. Asked if I could help in any way and was ignored…got only two of the three items I ordered and was finally helped by a kind delivery worker who acknowledged that I’d been there for an hour. Left with cold pizza and a complete loss of faith in this company. I was only trying to feed my family for a night but customers shouldn’t be punished for trying to order from your business. I understand if it was an unusually busy night, but wow. The employees at this location clearly don’t enjoy their jobs or take customer service or helping people seriously….so disappointing. Save your time & money and avoid this location and its employees.

Actually my delivery got messed up the 1st two times I ordered here in boise..(the pizza was left on my landlords doorstep and I wasn’t informed it had arrived).. I called and talked to Tommy (im pretty sure thats the guy) and he corrected the matter with a free order of same and an extra cheesy bread.. he was/is super nice and professional …made the Papa John’s experience just that much better..

My order “didn’t exist” according to the kid on the phone. He was apathetic at best and dismissive at worst. The website tracker wasn’t working so I knew something was wrong. I had the confirmation email and the payment went through already.

He went on hold for a second, likely to ask his manager, then I was given an “I don’t know what’s going on, there’s nothing I can do” and was told to call some other number to make a complaint. The phone was broken because it sounded mostly like static. He was trying to just get me off the phone so he didn’t have to solve this problem. Ridiculous.

The help desk associate was very helpful and assisted me in resolving my order and getting a refund.

We usually love papa johns! They always have good food and amazing breadsticks! But tonight it was far from that our food took over an hour to get to us, the pizza was cold and paper thin, our breadsticks were burnt and soggy and cold. When I called the store they were very rude and acted like it was no big deal….i know times are rough right now and staffing in most places is a nightmare! It gonna be hard for me to come back if they don’t change their attitudes, and food quality.

Ustick Papa John’s refused to remake my order due to an employee putting it in the system wrong! Were is the customer service in that? Maybe the employee taking the order needs to re communicate the order back to customer so that customer doesn’t have to pay for a pizza they didn’t order….

First time customer and last time I order. Guess that explains why they put the “Quality Sealed” sticker on. Papa John’s taught me a lesson… ‘look before you leave’
The only saving grace was that they had the 3 toppings I asked for and the cheese and crust was good. But this was portioned very poorly and as you may be able to see, there was several slices missing some toppings. That the others had. And they were not covered up by the cheese, what you see is what I got.

Went here for a pizza on Friday night. The place was very busy as expected, but they had me checked out within 5 minutes.
The one thing I thought was hilarious was the way they cut my pizza. The slices in the picture below are both from an extra large size pizza!
Aside from that we’ll always come back to Papa, decent pizzas and they always have specials that give you fantastic value.

DON’T ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!
After 2 hours of delay, I got a text from DoorDash that my order was canceled. The pizza place doesn’t have cheese.
I didn’t get any emails from Papa John’s yet about Cancellation but I’m keeping my hopes up .Terrible customer service .

The food was great but the driver truly is amazing! He left two dog biscuits on top of the pizza boxes for my dogs and I thought that had to be the most wholesome driver I’ve ever seen! Didn’t catch his name but you’re compassionate heart is appreciated!
