A+++ Just moved to Portland and ordered my 1st Pizza! The Manager was super friendly and knowing my wife can not have gluten made 100% sure the sauce used was perfect! The pizza scored a 10/10! Great atmosphere with a welcoming team! We will be back!

I came here tonight ready to complain, but what happened completely changed my mind. My family’s pizza arrived as a total mess—it looked like it had been dropped in the box. I always believe in having proof, so I took photos to document the issue. However, the employee at the Portland, Texas location who answered my call was a masterclass in customer service.
He was immediately responsive and offered an instant solution, trusting my word completely. He didn’t even want me to send the pictures, which honestly surprised me. This is why I’m writing this review: not to encourage others to take advantage of this location, but to recognize outstanding service. In a time when good customer service seems to be a fading trend, this employee’s attitude and professionalism stood out. He valued my business and the brand’s reputation, showing what it truly means to make things right.
Thank you, Papa John’s, for consistently delivering a great product. But more importantly, a huge thank you to the customer service representative who handled my call this evening. His swift and on-point response not only fixed a problem but also showed why your company makes its mark.

I ordered a pizza, wings, and breadsticks. All three were terrible. Bread sticks were like rubber not even edible. Pizza was cold )I ordered pickup and was there 5 mins after it said it was ready) and even after microwaving it it just wasn’t great. and the wings were also cold and tiny and just not good in general. Looked like they were made several days ago and sat in a warmer. I could understand one thing being off but the fact that every single thing I ordered was basically inedible is kinda pathetic. You don’t care and it shows.

I have always gone to this Papa Johns location for years. What a disappointment. Two weeks ago, I ordered the epic stuffed crust. Did not get that. Today, I ordered three different pizzas and they all had missing items and the meats were placed on the very top and burned. I had never had so dried out pizza like I did today. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

Papa John’s is my favorite pizza, but after last order will never order from there again. They used door dash for their delivery because they had no drivers. Door dash shows up with pizza carrier standing on side in the back seat. Upon opening all5 pizzas were smashed to one side. None were any good.

As someone with a dairy allergy I always order my pizza with no cheese. This crew has always been great about making sure it comes out right and on the very rare occasion it doesnt they make it right without any issues.

I added Philly steak topping , they just put small pieces at one corner of pizza. Not even covered half of pizza. So 2/3 of pizza was just cheese. I bought 2 both were same

I went to pick up my carry out and when I got home with it the pizza was so soggy to the point where I couldn’t take a single bite of it without all topping and cheese falling off of it. Had to stop eating it because the texture of the sogginess almost made me vomit. Huge waste of 38 bucks.

I don’t understand what is wrong with this place. Papa John’s is always our go to, but lately this location has gone downhill. Tonight when I recieved my order, in two separate boxes, there were smashed garlic sauce containers. They had spilled all over the box. I paid for the sauces. Normally they don’t even bring them! But this time they put smashed and half open containers in my boxes.They would of had to already been that way! The pepperoni pizza was slopped together and barley cut. Thhe Garlic bread and other pizza was completely drenched in garlic sauce. Incredibly disappointed with this place. I’m including a picture of exactly how the sauces looked. I only took them out of the boxes. They were smashed and spilled.

Ordered last week and it took over an hour for my food to be delivered. I called the store and my order was done just sitting on the rack for an hour and a half waiting for a driver. Had my car not been in the shop I would have picked it up myself.
I sent an email to papa John’s requesting a refund (that I did not receive) instead I was given a coupon for a free pizza.
I ordered said free pizza last night and it was once again delivered through door dash and the delivery driver was the rudest person I have accepted a delivery from. Papa John’s has always been our family’s go to for pizza but after 2 bad experiences in a row, we will be switching.
