I’ve ordered delivery from this location a few times and the past three times my pizza has arrived warm, as if it was sitting out. I let it go twice, but when it happened a third time I called the store location to express my dissatisfaction. On the call the employee stated that it’s due to delivery therefore the pizza would be hot and fresh if I chose carry out. I’m no stranger to pizza deliveries and I have never continually received lukewarm pizzas. Unfortunately the Pizza Hut nearby is closed until further notice.

Had the ridiculous bad luck of showing up 15 or so minutes after placing a carryout order and found out they were right in the midst of making a hundred boxes for this lady. Had to wait probably 40 minutes since I got there while they kept making like 5 extra large boxes at a time for the lady to stuff her trunk with. Some bald dude with glasses went outside to smoke a cigarette and brought it inside. I sympathize with the staff for dealing with a ridiculous order, but the way they handled it was just dumb. It was my first time ordering from papa johns so I don’t know if the small pepper is on brand, but thought it was meaningless to include at that point. Sleazy staff with a few nice ones.

I’m writing this review not just out of frustration, but out of genuine concern for the customer experience at this location.
While my food arrived cold, what disappointed me far more was the level of customer service. The delivery driver showed no greeting, no acknowledgment, and no basic courtesy—simply handed over the food and left. I don’t know what he may have been dealing with personally, and I truly hope he’s okay, but when representing a brand, attitude and professionalism matter. Unfortunately, that was missing here.
Afterward, I contacted the store regarding a refund. The manager did explain the process, but there was little empathy or ownership taken regarding the poor service experience. It felt transactional rather than customer-focused, which was disappointing.
I noticed this location currently holds a 3.2 Google rating, and based on this experience, I can understand why. I believe this store has an opportunity to improve significantly with stronger leadership accountability, coaching, and a renewed focus on hospitality.

I do love getting Papa John’s pizza in particularly this Pearland location. Lauren has the best customer service. My pizza orders are done correct! Delicious and Pipping Hot is the way My family love our pizza!

I ordered the special for delivery today, but my pizza arrived in disarray. I contacted the store manager Adam, who offered me a credit and apologized for the mishap. While I was satisfied with the resolution, I’m uncertain if I will continue ordering from Papa John’s in the future. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened; I just didn’t report it before.

I recently ordered from the Papa John’s in Pearland and was really impressed! The pizza was fresh, hot, and full of flavor — just the way I like it. The crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were generous. Great job to the team for keeping up the quality and service — I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!

Got there pizza was sitting on shelf and they said would have to still make wings. I said my pizza will get cold if have to wait for wings. The girl at counter said they would remake HUGE LIE. They just kept in back when got hot wings pizza very cold. Very disappointed. The workers don’t have gloves on while touching food. One guy was walking around holding pepperoni in his ungloved hands another picked up his falling pants then went back to making others pizza.

I’ve ordered three times and every single time I had an issue, first time delivery time went up from 45 mins to hr and a half, and tried to call the store no answer, I ended up getting it cold. Second time food was warm and third tome, order gets cancelled due to running out of pans.

Had to change my review. Today I placed an order and one of the pizzas was wrong. They offered a refund but I wanted the pizza. (Is only half my family supposed to eat?) The workers seemed to get upset by this and made it seem like I wanted a free pizza but nobody would eat what was on the pizza. They stated 3x to bring the pizza back in which I replied thats fine it wouldn’t get eaten anyway. Idk it just seemed rude for a mistake they made.

I always go to order pizza around 12.30am. This is the 2nd time it’s happened with me that they refused to take orders at 12.30am. When you are not taking order then why online showing it will close at 1a.m. I am not happy and I’m not going back agin for pizza .I always order a lot of pizza. But I have to mention one thing that the guy who usually work there ,he is very good to me.he never refused to take order.
