I would leave 0 stars if possible. Decided to give Papa John’s a try after a couple years. Ordered 3 pizzas for me and my family. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but the quality of the food was horrible. Has Papa John’s really gone this far down hill? Massive bubbles in the pizza and the crust was dense, thin, and like chewing on cardboard. Ending up throwing it all in the trash where it belongs. Do better Papa!

We have ordered from this location for years as Papa John’s is my oldest son‘s favorite pizza. I sent him to pick up our pizzas this evening, and he walked into a concerning setting. The workers were cursing and playing around, not using proper hygiene for food prep. When what was seemingly the manager walked in from their smoke break, My son observed them not washed their hands and immediately go to work with pizza dough and going in the “fun” the rest of the staff were having. For a 16-year-old boy to observe hygiene and cursing as well as vulgar language as being an issue that means there was really something going on. We watched this location go downhill for years and it’s just really sad to see. I really hope that the owner will take a look at this review and make some much-needed changes into the expectations they have of their managers and staff. I understand that this is fast food pizza and staff are minimum wage but allowing this behavior is both unsafe and setting horrible habits for their future employment.

I ordered a regular-size pepperoni pizza, but when we got home, we realized it was thin crust. We called the store, and the person who answered told us to come back. We explained that it wasn’t our fault the order was made incorrectly. Instead of offering a solution, they said “alright, have a nice day” and hung up on us.

they put almost no sauce on the pizza making it extremely dry. don’t waste your money on the wings. their lowest quality frozen wings you can buy. I wasted my money.

I was extremely disappointed to see how the staff work here without any hygiene standards being followed. The person making the pizza was handling and twisting the dough with bare hands, wearing a watch, no uniform, and without any head covering. At one point, I even saw him wipe his nose with his hand and then continue touching the dough — that was absolutely unacceptable and disgusting.
None of the other staff members were wearing gloves either. The person handling the oven went to change the receipt printer paper and then went straight back to cooking without washing his hands. The floor was covered in flour and bits of paper were lying around.
If the kitchen looks anything like the front area, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s completely unsanitary. Truly a terrible experience — I would never come back here.

New update, ordered the pizza around 6 PM it is now 8pm. No Pizza, I have called Papa Johns in Pearland probably 10 times and it keeps getting disconnected like someone’s hanging up or no one’s answering. Can’t even call a manager or anything.

I ordered 2 original crust pizzas. The dough was uncooked and tasted horrible. The dough was so raw that it was sticking to the pizza box (see pics). I love papa johns but this location is terrible.

I had high hopes for this pizza place, mainly because my family loves Papa Johns over any other pizza. Ordered a Large pizza and this is what we received. (The slice that’s missing was my child not their mistake) Clearly they don’t love what they do, poor service and poor quality.

This place has gone downhill after the new district manager, Bailey. Also, when jalapeños are on top of the pizza, it’s because they forgot to put the toppings in it. They chased a lot of good workers from this location. Management is never wrong in doing anything. Your best bet is to go straight to corporate and file complaints. They need better workers who are gonna do the job correctly.

We ordered a pizza for pick up and paid for it over the phone. We went to pick it up they said the transaction didn’t go through. We showed them that the charge was taking out of the account. They would not give us the pizza even when we proved we payed for it. Long story short we had to dispute the charge and never got our pizza. This is so upsetting and the service we received was awful. We will never return there again and make sure everyone knows about this!
