Papa John’s Rowlett…. Very disappointing. Order a Shaqroni Pizza with Mushrooms and basically got a cheese goo of a pie. Terrible, did not taste like pizza rather than just bread and melted cheese. The pizza was not mad well at all, there was not good distribution of sauce and the cheese just wasn’t good tasted like a cheese stick. THE PIZZA HAD LIKE 8 PEPPERONIS. Also the toppings were all covered in cheese like the person didn’t know how to make the pizza and put the toppings then the cheese on top. The lady was at least nice working there. Spent money here and regretted it… not a good pizza.

I’ve already shared my concerns with the company but have yet to receive a response. I came in with a positive attitude, excited to treat my kids to some pizza and pasta of their choice. I made friendly conversation with the clerk and other staff working that night. Unfortunately, the experience quickly took a disappointing turn.

The young man at the register seemed unsure of what he was doing and needed frequent help. Another employee in a green shirt stood nearby, on his phone, waiting for his girlfriend to bring him a Starbucks drink. Two young African American women appeared to be busy, but upon closer observation, it was clear they weren’t doing much at all. Then there was the manager on duty in a red long-sleeve shirt who made the food.

Honestly, the entire situation felt like a slap in the face. I walked in with good intentions, gave compliments, and even encouraged Mr. Donovan (the clerk) to take his time learning the system as he processed my order. I had pleasant conversations with the others who came to assist him. However, when my food was finally brought out, I was handed pasta that was poorly made and looked nothing like what’s advertised on Papa John’s menu.

What made it worse was the awkward looks the staff exchanged before handing it to me, like they knew it wasn’t acceptable, but gave it to me anyway. This, after I had spoken kindly to them and even left a generous 15–20% tip. I felt completely unappreciated and disrespected, especially since my kids were excited and had picked out their meals with such joy.

To top it all off, the girl who brought the Starbucks drink went behind the counter, an area that’s clearly off-limits to regular customers.

I once had respect for this location and came in hopeful despite some hesitation. But after this experience, I no longer feel confident in the quality of service, especially knowing that a tip means so little. This was truly disappointing.

Went here today to pick up 10 pieces for DoorDash only to find out that there is one person in here working by themselves to fulfill or DoorDash orders along with Customer walk-in orders you can tell that the individual was not feeling well. I’m not sure what type of manager would leave a person that doesn’t feel well to work by themselves all day and have people sitting around that’s not good customer service and it wouldn’t make me want to come back to this location. Even if it’s a slow location, you should at least have two people not just one who doesn’t even feel good working around food

I ordered an ultimate pepperoni pizza, and received what it looks like to be a regular pepperoni pizza. It doesn’t look like advertised.
I also ordered a customized pizza with pineapple, canadian bacon, mushroom and jalapeño, this pizza was missing the jalapeños.
And I didn’t received my 2 lt pepsi that was ordered as well.

It was a long day after spending the day on the hospital, I just wanted to make home and eat with my kids. Very upsetting getting almost everything wrong after a hard day.

Today will be the last day I ever order from this location!! I use to love this P.J.s!! But the last time I ordered I felt like I was eating a store-bought pizza. This time was even worse!! It was supposed to be regular crust as you can see by the pics this is clearly not. This wasn’t even thin and crispy. It was stretched and crunchy. The pizza was just nasty!! This location has seriously went downhill the last few months!! My Rowlett folks DO NOT GO HERE!! You will be mad!!! O stars!!

This is to give a shout out to the managers on duty today- we had a mishap when our pizza was delivered and they were kind and generously willing to right the wrong. I understand most would complain and write something mean or snarky but the gentlemen that I talked to did an amazing job deescalating the situation and providing exceptional service. Thank you guys!

This place looks poorly managed. No one at the register when I arrived. Someone had to get the attention of someone outside to charge me. I believe this person on a smoke break based on the cigarette smell
I ordered large pepperoni and mushroom. When I got home there was an average of one and a half pepperoni slices at most per slice and even less mushrooms. And it had no flavor.

Ghost Town. I came in. No one seemed to be working. Then a lady with pink braids popped her head up and just looked at me. I said hi! She said hello and that was it. The other lady with the blue whatever on her head didn’t even look up. No one wants to help me today. Then I spotted a guy in the back who was working on a computer. I just want to pick up my order. Finally- I am acknowledged…. With attitude of course. Papa John’s pizza is pretty good wish I could say the same for some of the employees.

This was my first time going to this location due to multiple poor experiences at the Broadway location. I came inside and everyone was super nice all smiles and extremely respectful. Zach the manager was AWESOME he truly made this experience worth the drive. He actually cares about his establishment and most importantly how the clients are treated. I will gladly give them my business and continue to drive to this location to experience this amazing crew. Again Zach thank you so much sir! This NY STYLE PIZZA with extra cheese, bacon and pepperonis is so good!!!

The pizza was a mess & looked like they dropped it or shook the box. The girl on the phone didn’t understand, but repeated the order fine. They delivered the same messed up order 2 Times & the delivery guy tried to tell me I didn’t tip him 1st time? It was strange & a Horrible Experience. Maybe they were having a REALLY off day, but I won’t be ordering from there again.
