There was only one staff member working despite multiple pending orders. I ended up waiting an additional 45 minutes to finally receive my order. For a single pizza, spending an hour just to pick it up is completely unreasonable.
The owner or whoever is responsible for this location needs to start valuing customers’ time. This level of inefficiency is unacceptable, and I won’t be ordering from this location again.
When food did arrive, they were missing items. Chicken poppers looked like they had a little squirt of seasoning. And the Bleu cheese was nuked with it, so it was busted open and melted / coagulated.
That’s not even all of it. Usually Papa John’s hits the spot (yay cheese sauce). But wow.
Update: Tried it again. Items wrong and bread sticks were awful. Manager was great – said may have been due to oven cleaning and actually answered phone! But since then even Papa Johns corporate says there’s no way to reach them and *the only way to order from here is in person*.
We have been friends for 30 years and she knew that the last time I’d had a Papa John’s pizza was in Greeley, Colorado before 2010.
The truth is I had forgotten all about Papa John’s until Saturday when we were at the $5Below store next door to get pool noodles.
Anyway long story short..
(Too Late)
She observed how excited I got when I saw Papa John’s so she ordered a pizza and we picked it up after church.
It was even better than I remembered from Colorado.
The stuffed cheese crust was perfect, not too much cheese or crust like other places, just the right amount, and the garlic butter dipping sauce was the best I’ve had, except when I’ve made it myself.
The toppings were all fresh tasting and the dough was the perfect texture.
I am not a pizza guy at all, and can normally go years and years without it.
Apparently that was only because I’d forgotten about Papa John’s and did not know there was one here.
Now that I’ve become reacquainted I plan on becoming a steady customer because it turns out the only reason I wasn’t a pizza guy is because there is so much bad pizza out there.
Papa John’s is different.
The flavor was exquisite and every single bite was a symphony of flavor, and I am not just spewing hyperbole here.
If you do not consider yourselves
‘pizza people’
maybe it’s because you have not tried Papa John’s lately.
If I could give them more than five stars I would.
Sincerely ,
Andrew John Bookter
PS: I would include photos but unfortunately it was gone before I realized.

Everyone knows what a pizza looks like.
