I couldn’t tell if the food was good as I didn’t get my order. Service sucked the tall blond guy was rude and obviously incompetent. I clearly know where I placed my order as I called to place it, I followed the text as I was out ubering in the snow storm I got to the store to pick up my pizza and he tells me it’s not here. I told him it said it was in the oven. He rifle through the boxes again I told him it’s in the oven, he then starts looking at the orders in the printer and tells me it’s not there it must be a different store I said no it’s in the oven he walks to the back to the cook and comes right back up getting rude and argumentive it’s not her you need to go try a different store. I was so pissed off I left and after I got all the way back downtown to pick up another rider I get a call from some lady saying my order is ready. I asked her which store she said on Campbell I said I was just there was told my order was not there so you can now eat the cost of that I will not be coming back now or ever. I was going to have dinner with my daughter in the nursing home and get back to ubering. I was not offered any solution other then I could work my way back to pick up a pizza that by then would of been soggy sitting in a pizza box steaming. SO PISSED OFF

This is by far the best Papa John’s in Springfield. It’s always really fast, no matter what time or day. AND, it has been quality pizza every time. Some other Papa John’s have really messed my pizza up before, by going way overboard on the sauce and barely any cheese. More times than I’d care to admit. This location is actually pretty far from me, but I go out of my way to pick up from this one because they are so consistent.

I gave 1 star because the pizza is sometimes good but I ordered wings this time and they were literally the tiniest wings I have ever seen in my life! It looked like mini chicken wings. When I saw it I laughed. For the price this is ridiculous. They also tasted on the funky side and they were mushy. Mushy wings are gross! Boooooooooo! I won’t go back. I can cook food way better than this.
Update: I gave it another shot and the pizza wasn’t very good this time either. The crust is totally different from what it used to be and that was my favorite thing. I loved their hand tossed crust. This was flat and looked liked a store bought pre made crust. Totally different from what it used to be and not good. Their jalapenos are sour. The cheese was not melted. Weird. Anyway I’m for sure done now. Papa johns is no longer my favorite pizza place. I will give another company my business. Thanks!

It saddens me to say this was the worst Papa Johnson’s Pizza I have ever had. The cheese was barely melted, the toppings tasted old and had no flavor, the Pizza was supposed to be NY Style and it wasn’t. I’ve had NY style and this isn’t close.
The buffalo wings advertised as smothered with sauce… A Tiny drizzle and tasted lukewarm warm like they had been sitting out for hours, not fresh at all, microwaved maybe.
This is rare but I stopped eating and re ordered an entire meal from IMOs Pizza down the street.

Horrible horrible horrible. Staff was yelling at each other while I was standing there. No acknowledgment of me for a good 3-5 minutes until the cat fight was over. The next day I realized they added a tip of $4 that I never authorized. Reported it to my bank and corporate office. Wow. I mean wow. Yall should be disappointed in yourselves.

When you say its a 14 inch large. I can understand being slightly under 14in. This is 1.5 inches off on both of my large pizzas. These had 8 slices, should be 10 from what your website says. Shorting me half a medium pizza. Wonder how many times this has happened .

Was waiting at the front desk for a while, the people working in the kitchen just kept looking over at me and wouldn’t come take my order. They didnt say anything just kept looking over and then ignoring me. Definitely wont be back.

This location is not worth the 1star strictly because of customer service. I ordered two pizzas, breadsticks and jalapeño rolls/bites and when they arrived the garlic sauce in the breadsticks had been smashed and leaked and soaked everything. I called and requested a replacement breadstick order as they were the worst damaged and swimming in the sauce from their box. I was told they would need the bad breadsticks to replace and I said that is fine but the kids had taken a few already. “JUSTIN” proceeded to tell me then they can’t be that bad if they ate some and he didn’t see a problem. As I was explaining to him the kids don’t care but I do that my order was ruined he decided to hang up on me. I will be taking this as far as I can up the chain of command to be resolved.
