Not that nice
Place was dirty and smelled like vinegar. The food was very oily but the flavor was very good. Now service was terrible . I went to the desk and the person there, o think his name was Tom, was immediately very pushy and meanHe rushed my order and got angry at me He got mu order wrong multiple times and when I went to talk to him about it, he blamed it on me
What a jerk. Would give zero stats on service.

Upon arrival we noticed the associate was so stoned he couldn’t keep his eyes open but anyway We ordered a shaqaroni pizza and upon getting it home. We noticed it was drenched in grease and so thin it was falling apart when taking the slices out of the box..So we called the store and talked to associate named Kaela who said she was a manager, we explained the quality concerns and she began to tell me that’s how there pizza is made and live with it so I asked for a manager and she said was the manager and began to yell and hung up the phone. I recommend you don’t trust these guys making your food specially since you can even tell them when your order is screwed up and there very unprofessional!

I haven’t eaten at Papa John’s in maybe two decades (Don’t like it). However, I just picked up my first two orders at this Papa John’s (4011 N Mulford Rd, Loves Park) as a NEW Doordash driver.
The reddish blonde haired guy at the window (Friday 5:30pm) had quite a BAD ATTITUDE.
He corrected me that this was my second time there that day- PERIOD (in the drive-thru) but did not inform me the first time that I should have went inside instead). I then started driving towards customer but went back because it Appeared that the sauces were missing. I walked in & asked him for the sauces to which he Frustratingly told me that they were inside the boxes. I told him that I’m new & I just asked for simple Respect. He started yelling & saying incoherent things as he walked away.
I was Never Rude but he was just Clearly Annoyed.
I don’t know what’s going on in his life or if he just doesn’t get paid enough but there is no need to be so short with people. It doesn’t make your restaurant look good. PEOPLE SKILLS are KEY.

Hank the Vile Snarky Rude Manager with Red Hair sure needs to be Fired! He is so Nasty to Customers talks down to them and makes them feel stupid. He also throws Money at you if you pay in Cash. I don’t like his Nasty Attitude and needs to be Fired and Replaced

Every time I do pick up the manager is always very fast, friendly, and efficient. The pizza always tastes great and that’s why we continue to come back every month for the first Tuesday of the month special 🙂

Hank is awesome I have known him since he was at the Perryville store a great guy and the best manager ever! The pizza is always great at this one, some of the other Papa John’s in the Rockford and surrounding areas are nasty like little Caesars.

Has anyone placed an order and picked it up at the wrong restaurant? Well I did, that cost me harassment, KAT the store manager cussed me out and called my phone 3 times & I have the voicemail to prove it! The girl was irate! I called the next day and spoke to Hank, and he said this happens all the time, “ we don’t have the man power to hire others so we get more complaints about KAT not being good with customers! Hank stated. “ don’t order on Tuesday & Sunday when she’s there! He’s the general manager! He said, “ sorry we just have to put up with it, she’s terrible but there is no help

I’ve gotten take out here a number of times. I’ve tried different things on the menu. Some were better than others. I can’t really blame the stuff I didn’t like on the restaurant because I just didn’t like it so I won’t get it again. A couple times I ordered pizza and it took a lot longer than they promised before it was ready. For the most part I have found the food to be acceptable, but nothing real exceptional. It’s good enough that I go back now and then.

Hank the General Manager is a Super Star! He is the most welcoming, polite, friendly, and professional manager I have experienced with EVER! The pizza is always Hot, Fresh and AWESOME every time. Hank makes sure to ask if I need extras like plates, napkins, or sauces each time I come in to pick up my order. This Papa John’s is the best by far compared to any of the other stores or competition like Pizza Hut that I have experienced with. Keep up the Amazing work and delicious food you provide me. Hook line and sinker… I’ll be back next week if not by this weekend.
