Papa Johns sent my GF a bday 50% off any large pizza so we tried the limited time garlic 5-cheese crust and wow this is arguably the best PJ I’ve ever had (and I’ve been eating them for 4 decades across multiple states)

I feel bad for some of these guys. But at the same time I applaud their work. Came in to pick up pizza and just after half the city lost power. Some yahoo ordered 50 pizzas on a single order. And these guys were all scrambling around to get everything done. They were all still super friendly and couldn’t apologize enough to me for having to wait. I can’t believe the way people act these days anymore. People were calling in and I could tell they were asking for refunds and complaining about food not being delivered on time. And door dash guy comes in thinking he’s the king of the world. “And he’s not JESUS is”. Entitled like everyone else. All the while the workers are explaining to everyone the power outage and a huge order set them back a half hour. But they kept cranking out the pizzas. I hope all you rude people who were calling and complaining over something uncontrollable choke on your pizza.

Pizza was great. Called me and said there was a problem with my credit card being processed and asked for another card number. Now have fraudulent charges on both cards. Scam!

So I ordered myself a large, The Works pizza, at Papa Johns. Like I keep saying when it comes to fast food or chains that consistency is the hardest thing to be because of the changing of personnel and cutbacks on quality to save costs. The person answering the phone to take my order was just meh. Wasn’t excited or enthusiastic but wasn’t rude or mean either. Middle of the road attitude, kind of like not wanting to be there and it sounded like it. Once I got my pizza and opened it up, I was surprised. It was also meh. This is supposed to be a supreme pizza with all kinds of toppings! Mine looked like there was a contest to see which one could come closer to a Picasso painting. The crust wasn’t cooked all the way so it was gummy, each slice didn’t have anywhere near the same amount of toppings on them. One was overloaded with all kinds, then the neighbor had like two lonely things on it. Overall my experience was just meh. Which sucks for Papa Johns because with that I probably won’t be wasting anymore of my hard earned money on them. With so much competition out there vying for your business, you have to be as sharp and consistent as ever! Unfortunately they are not. My recommendation is that you can go to them once, but if they don’t wow you or at least give you a good experience, then move on. There are way too many other pizza places that will fill that void.

Got a med 1 topping which was Canadian bacon, went to eat it and it smelled and tasted like mold! Then they wouldn’t replace it without putting the can bacon back on there?? Just wanted cheese and they refused to replace it, and the man was so rude ill never order papa John’s again!

I cannot have dairy whatsoever. I live through the website to try to order pizza with no cheese. They give you no discount for not having any cheese, which is a main product in a pizza. And you wantna charge me $25 for a medium pizza. So you did not get my order. Nor will I do it in the future unless you are going to take off the cost of the cheese. I’m not paying for something I’m not getting.

Papa John’s used to be my go-to pizza, they are barely competing, there was hardly any toppings. My wife found 2 small pieces of Canadian bacon on 3 pieces and I found only 7 pieces of sausage on 3 pieces. They have always had great sauce and cheese, but mine didn’t qualify as anything more than a cheese pizza, very disappointing. I can see why my wife doesn’t like Papa Johns. Don’t waste your money, Little Caesars is better hands down.
