We ordered a pizza from Papa John’s tonight and it arrived cold. Yes, it’s cold outside, but we’re still paying for a hot pizza, not leftovers straight from the fridge.
Delivery took forever, so we called to complain (yes on some Karen ish). The employee we spoke with talked in circles and even said something along the lines of, “Well, I didn’t expect you’d want another one tonight because you’ll probably eat it and there won’t be any leftovers.”
Honestly… what? We didn’t expect to receive a cold pizza or be made to feel like an inconvenience for expecting the bare minimum. We’re not sorry for asking someone to do the job they’re paid to do, and that’s deliver hot food.
Really disappointing experience all around. Our female delivery driver was super nice tho! Just not the guy on the phone.

WAY WAY too much sauce. If you like soggy crust on a thin crust and cheese that slides off when u bite it, THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. I bought 3 large pizzas and they got THREE F’s. Look at the pic NONE of the 3 were edible and WE TRIED believe me….

I have always had issues with the Haines store and decided I wouldn’t order again, until I saw a sign stating they were under new management. I thought maybe they would be better, so I placed a delivery order and regretted it. I’m pretty sure my food was dropped at some point. It arrived barely warm, I didn’t get the extra sauce I paid for, and the pizza was smashed to one side of the box. Super disappointed in the consistent poor quality, even with the advertised new management. A kind delivery driver unfortunately does not make up for bad food. I learned my lesson and will avoid this place moving forward.

Usually love papa John’s. I was sorely disappointed after ordering a BBQ chicken Hawaiian style pizza. It was made with marinara and no BBQ. Needless, to say.. We didn’t eat it. They honored making a new one at no charge during next visit, but gave attitude about it during pick up.

My pick-up order was fast, the pizza was hot, and the service was friendly, but the toppings were barely existent. I had half sausage/green pepper, and half canadian bacon/pineapple, yet several pieces of pizza had nothing but cheese.

We always order Papa Johns because they’re the only ones who deliver to our house, It’s always a great experience. I wish I caught the gentleman’s name who delivered our order earlier this evening, so kind and caring! Held a good conversation while grabbing the pizzas and just had an overall awesome attitude(: this man deserves a raise! I also didn’t realize my husband and I accidentally tipped him $10.. but it was well earned and I’d probably give him even more next time!!
