The incorrect order was delivered – tried to catch the driver but I was too late. It’s ok; mistakes happen. I called the store and that’s where the problem started – very rude. No apology was ever given. Offered to remake the order and deliver again. I asked if they could contact the driver to see if she still had the order so we didn’t have to wait another hour. This was met with another rude response. I wasn’t looking for any money back (I know that refunds/credits impact P&L). But I did expect genuine customer service. Saying “I’m sorry this happened and we will check to see if the driver can return soon with your order, and if not, we’ll remake as soon as possible and get it to you” would have been fine. I eventually asked for just a refund, and for the “manager” to verify the amount. She told me she was too busy and HUNG UP ON ME. I called back and she finally told me the amount, though after saying “you ordered the pizza, don’t you know the amount”. She told me she reached out to her boss and he is aware of this and may be reaching out to me. I would expect so, and will attempt to reach him if not.

Horrible place to order delivery from and wouldn’t recommend because you will wait well after the scheduled time of delivery.
We placed an order a day+ in advance and still waiting on pizza 15 minutes past scheduled delivery time. Called into the location and pizza hadn’t even been started yet. Clearly they have no schedule prioritization and only look at location when making pizzas.

I don’t think I ever posted negative review but man I really hope they figure something out , employees attitude was beyond unacceptable especially female employee working last night. I really hope owners or upper management figures something out South Dakota people don’t act like.

*Update: I decided to try Papa John’s again because the other places have gone down hill. They came through with delicious Pizza, wings, and cinnamon roll bites (or whatever) that you’ve got to be careful that you don’t eat them all in one sitting. Great job!
I received a coupon for buy one large pizza get one free if you order online. So I tried to order online. My password needed to be changed, it took me a while to get it to change. Then I custom ordered two pizzas, after putting in the 15 digit coupon code. There were no pizzas in my cart, so I had to put in the code again and custom order the pizzas again. This time they were in my cart. My family was about starving by now so I tried to check out. It kept saying my credit card was invalid. No pizza for us.
It’s a shame because I love Papa John’s pizza, but I’m over this situation. The same thing happened last time I tried to order online from them. Instead of quick convenience, it’s frustration and too much time wasted.

I have been an all-too-frequent customer of this location and can’t say enough good about the employees, service, and food!!!! I rarely have to wait more than 10-12 minutes from the time I put my order in online to the time it’s ready to pick up. On a super busy night it might take 15 or 20 minutes but that’s rare. The staff is always friendly and they all provide exceptional customer service!!!

Right now it’s 818 I just called and asked about your specials because I was going to get a delivery but the lady who answered the phone was very rude and said that we have all kind of specials what kind of specials do you want and then so I asked her for the pizza specials and she continued to be very rude look like I’ll just look for somewhere else to eat I actually love you all pizza 07/02/2025

Food was fine however service and employee attitude terrible. We ordered over the phone and were told it would be ready in 10 minutes. We arrived 20 minutes later and pizza was still in the oven. We were on a time line and the delay made us late. Employees did not seem to care.
