I tried papa johns for the first time the other week. It was so good, I had to get another a few days later!
I will admit, the price of what I paid for was a tad expensive. But I did receive an amazing, super super delicious pizza that was *filled* with toppings and cheese. When I say I want extra? I mean extra! I love it so much, I will happily pay extra, I don’t mind, as long as the extra cheese delivers. And man, they sure do.
You have the first layer which they load up with toppings all the way to the edge (amazing), the cheese gets the first layer. Then after your selection of toppings. They do *another layer* of cheese. ❤️❤️❤️ It’s so perfect. It’s cheesy goodness. I’ve had competitors and when I order extra cheese, no one compares to Papa Johns. They have the best extra cheese, easily.
I ordered a large pizza with a lot of toppings, which is the prize winner here. But the cheese sticks? I would give a “meh” on it. Don’t hate it. Don’t love it. They just seemed… Flat? Not much going on there. Maybe it’s the one I ordered. Just regular cheese sticks.
TLDR: Top notch pizza quality, baked evenly, and the cheese is very generous and loved every bite, even the crust!
Almost forgot the sauce that comes with is perfect for the crust, and I’m not even a crust guy haha.

The 50% off deal is fantastic! Last night we order a “works” pizza and with pickup it was only $11 with tax. I was there just as thet boxed it so we had it as fresh as possible. Dammm it was good!!!! It felt loaded with toppings. It was so good, we ordered 2 days in a row. Very impressed!

The delivery driver was great. Pizza, meh, not so much. Please learn how to cut & I paid 57.00 for cheese to be placed on my entire pizza, not just a few pieces. For a 10.00 tip this is unacceptable.

The pizza and cheese sticks are great, but the ordering system needs to change. I placed an order for pickup hours before the pickup time and arrived 15min past that pickup time. When I checked in I (and a few others as well) was told because the system puts those orders into the queue 10-15min prior to the requested pickup time, it might still be 30+minutes because they had lots of regular call-in orders as well. I asked if would have been better to just place a regular order than ordering ahead of time and found out that if it’s busy, you might have better luck not ordering in advance. Why even offer ordering in advance if you get a worse experience?

This used to be one of the best Papa John’s around, but it seems to be going downhill. The last few times we had it, our pizzas are sloppily made with hardly no toppings or cheese. If I wanted that, I’d go to Dominos. This Papa John’s also never seems to remember the extra garlic cups we order. It’s as if they forget to deliver them on purpose so they can steal money from me. Do better, Papa John’s.

I ordered a pizza expecting the usual side of jalapeño peppers for a bit of spice, but what I received was ridiculous! The pepper included was laughably small – barely enough to even taste, let alone enjoy. For the price I paid, I expected better quality and portion sizes. Disappointed and reconsidering future orders.

The pizza we got did not have any sauce on it. I was so disappointed as I love papa John’s but this pizza at this location was bad! I was not called to say they were out of sauce. They made me pay for this pizza with no sauce. Do better because I love the taste.

I live a couple towns away its the closest and the drive is worth it, its the only place I travel to get my PJs Pizza. Staff is great and quick with the order. ✌️
