I used to get Papa Johns all the time at college and wanted a little bit of nostalgia. I tried a medium pepperoni pizza and the new papadilla philly cheese steak. Both were fantastic and I still love the garlic butter sauce and peppercinis.

The pizza was terrible from this location. I have had Papa Johns several times, but this pizza crust was dough. When we picked up a slice to eat the toppings literally slid off. After calling the manager another pizza was made and sent with the same result. Never again. Bye Bye Papa Johns.

Ordered 2 pizzas, breadsticks and some sauces. Came super fast! Got back into my hotel room and realized they’d given us a cup of HOT SAUCE (which we didn’t order) in our sticks, which had exploded and spilled all over them. None of the rest of our sauces were there. Called and told them, got rudely told they’d remake the order, which was nice. Waited an hour for them to show up, only for my friend to leave the room and find the food sitting in the hall on the floor. No one had knocked or called or anything to let us know they were there. Who knows how long it sat on the probably dirty hotel hallway floor! And lo and behold none of our extra sauces (that we paid for) are there.

I don’t live in DM but stopped here because there aren’t Papa John’s where we live and this was probably my favorite experience in a Papa’s. The man running register (probably the manager) was so very nice, the pizza took TEN minutes and it was perfect.100% recommend this place!

I’m giving five stars for customer service. The staff at this location has always been friendly and helpful every time I’ve been. They food is OK. It’s fast food, you get what you get, which is really sad considering how much they charge.

All the pizza joints are in competition with one another. Some make a pizza a bit better. Depends on the individual and what they want.
We’ve had great tasting pizza’s from Papa Johns and some that were not. This time it was tasty though.
We did order some garlic knots and that was a disappointment. Three of them were actually the size of a .50 cent coin. Why the staff member allowed them and didn’t replace them .. don’t know. Didn’t see this until we got home and opened the container.
