Tonight I chose to order pizza through door dash for a quick and easy dinner for this mom of two boys since my husband got stuck working late on a Friday. My door dash order came, but our pizza came doughy and undercooked. I had ordered a large stuff crust and a cheese stick order. Cheese sticks came excellent. I called immediately and the manager answered the phone. I told her the situation and before I could even finish, she apologized first and said they would make it right. She was so kind, understanding and professional. Little did I know I’d get a knock on my door from the manager herself, to deliver my new pizza. She went above and beyond in customer service and hospitality. I was having a rough evening flying solo on mom duty and she showed up just in time to remind me there is still good people in this world. I can not thank her enough.

Store manager was acting a bit off putting, went by the next day to talk to whatever manager was available to see what should be done. The two employees there wouldn’t say who was the manager on duty. THEN when I talked to them about my experience, they blew me off and were just being condescending and rude. It was the tall chubby dude with glasses. To be real you are already serving up mediocre pizza, but to have such garbage tier customer service on top of that? Lol yikes. There are only 2 pizza places in town, guess I will just go to the other one. Anyone reading this? Papano’s, the other pizza place, has pizza just as good but the employees are sweethearts. Id recommend supporting them, a local business, over some rude arrogant socially inept kids at a franchised location. ♡
UPDATE: store manager called me, explained he wasnt feeling good at all, hence the miscommunication the night of that left us feeling off put. I can get that and felt bad he was in a bad way. He apologized for him employees behavior, said his employee was completely wrong about that and that he will retrain him. I appreciated how he handled it, which made it clear why HE is in charge. He had a cool head and dealt with the issues with grace and professionalism. I updated my 1 ☆ rating to 4☆. I do think you should still support papano’s, but so long as the store manager at papa johns is there and keeps his employees maintaining a professional and courteous attitude then id say give them some love too. This is the second time in a row that we have driven the 10 miles to pick up our order ( because they don’t deliver that far out) only to be given the wrong pizza order. Both pizzas were not what we ordered. No even close. We sent our son. Probably should have checked the order but how hard is it to process an order. The first time it happened we said no big deal mistakes happen but this is the second straight time. Not at all happy that they continue to scew things up

These are not boneless wings we ordered boneless wings because we saw the picture on the door and I told the guy I would like them tossed not just put bbq sauce on it then not even toss them and they don’t even toast like actull boneless wings they are chicken nuggets with bbq sauce on them but the pizza was great

I am a teacher and ordered a bunch of pizza’s for my students at the end of reading month. Pizza was delicious and everyone enjoyed it! Everything was done on time and the owner was amazing to work with figuring out how much to order and he even cut smaller pieces for the younger kids. Highly recommend this great place! I will definitly be ordering again!

So I paid 45.00 for a speciality pizza and cinnamon pull aparts last nite. After seeing the total on my bank statement I called the manager and just an FYI to all of you, there are MANY extra charges that are not specified when looking at the menu online…and to top the price off, it was a very low budget pizza and the pull aparts were super dry…The manager did not want to work with me at all! NEVER AGAIN…

This is the WORST papa Johns in northern michigan. Pizza is never cooked all the way so it is still doughy and if you place an online order it gives u an estimated time but expect to have to wait at least 20-35 mins longer than it shows. We order our pizza that 5:10 was told it would be ready at 5:45pm called the store to find out the status of our order at 6:05pm was told it hasn’t even been made and in the oven that is wont be ready until at least 6:30pm at the soonest. Wasnt offer any compensation for the inconvience or even a coupon for the next time we order. Worst customer service EVER!

Ready time on the app was 22 mins. Decided to do delivery even tho we are only a mile away. 55 minutes later and our food was just delivered- like warm at best and without the extra blue cheese I paid for. This is the second bad experience we have had with them. Unfortunate there are no good places in Kingsley to get food anymore

When ordering a pizza on a holiday weekend you know the place is going to be super busy. However, even busy everyone we interacted with was fantastic. They were fast and extremely friendly. I will certainly be giving them a call again when we have a pizza night!!
