SECOND UPDATE: Still absolutely ZERO follow up almost 3 weeks later. Not from the store manager, or from Corporate. Just FYI if you order from here they won’t fix any mistakes or address crappy employee behavior.

UPDATE: I did the survey and asked to be contacted about my negative experience. The cocky manager at the store must have said he responded to my feedback already because I got an email a few hours later asking if I was satisfied with the resolution I was given by the manager of the store and asking me to rate how he resolved my complaint… Uh… it wasn’t resolved lol. But ok. Just reinforces to stay far away from Papa Johns.

ORIGINAL: I ordered a couple pizzas using a deal online and put in the notes for the driver to bring $25 in change because I had a $50. I was a manager at more than one pizza place and that is a totally common thing for people to do so the driver has enough change with them, and none of the places I’ve worked would deny that request, especially for a repeat customer. I have ordered multiple times from this location and have a papa john’s rewards account, so I am in their system.

The order was accepted and everything was fine. When the tracking was showing the order out for delivery, I gave my son the money and he went to wait for it. About 5 minutes later I got a phone call from the store. The guy on the phone COMPLETELY bungled my name, and then with no apology when I corrected him, he in a cocky and condescending tone says “We see you put in the notes that you wanted the driver to bring $25 change because you’re paying with a $50 bill. As you KNOW, our drivers only carry $15 banks with them.” I say “Uh no, I didn’t know that.” So then he says “Well, it’s printed on the boxes and it also should have told you at least 2 times during checkout.” I’m thinking – excuse me? You’re telling me I need to read the small print on the pizza boxes now just to know store policies?

I also double checked and there was nothing in the checkout about drives carrying that little amount. I tell him this. So he says snottily – “Well, it DIIID… so if you didn’t READ it that’s…” and at that point I cut him off and said “Well, then cancel my order.” And I hung up. I am not putting up with that. I’ve worked in the pizza industry and that was so rude and unprofessional. I would have been written up if I spoke that way to a customer, and I also would have been written up if I made a big deal over a repeat customer using a large bill.

This guy starts blowing up my phone and I ignore it. He leaves a voicemail just OOZING with snark, talking about how “if I had just waited a minute and listened to him, he was going to accept the large bill THIIISSS time, but I was SO fast to just hang up… did I still want the order?? just let him knooooowwww…” Papa John’s you lost a customer because that is just so off-putting and disrespectful. Also they had marked my order as delivered on the tracking app while I was still on the phone with him, so they were not planning on delivering it regardless of what he said. Also by marking it delivered, I lost my Papa Rewards bucks, so if I DID want to order from a different location my Papa cash is gone. It’s only $2 but it’s the entire point of how petty that is. Again, it was marked as delivered while I was still on the phone with him before I even cancelled it. He had no intention of having the driver bring change.

I’ll stick with Domino’s from now on.

Food HORRIBLE TASTE LIKE FLOUR, DRY AND I ASKED 1ST TO CALL 11am ish. tc had Nooooo butter garlic etc. Small pizza wasn’t even right size!!! cold and no pop but Mountain dew. Okay jus horrible. Ask to speak to Manager and was told they was jus did know Nothing cause they was there only person there ( Broadway site+took My $$). Wow . They robbery.

ordered pizza from here, it was delivered via door dash and unsealed and opened. my boyfriend called to ask about it and spoke to a manager at this location who was absolutely the most downright disrespectful person. we order from Papa John’s, specifically this location OFTEN, but today our pizzas seemed unsealed and potentially tampered with. understanding this goes through doordash, we just tried to call the store and find a feasible solution, as we planned on this for dinner tonight, however the manager was incredibly rude. she refused to give her name, gave an attitude the whole time, was extremely unwilling to help or even barely talk to my boyfriend about the concerns. i have personally worked in many restaurants before and have never witnessed anyone act this way, much less someone in management. The manager on duty who answered the call was extremely rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. we could have easily addressed and breezed past our initial issue with the food had the manager been understanding or even willing to talk to us, but this was by far one of the worst experiences. the manager refused to give her name but she was by far the worst person i have ever spoken to and im absolutely baffled that someone with that attitude and way of handling customers even has a place at her job.

Ordered door dash from here and the food took forever to get made. I ordered garlic bread and garlic knots and neither of them had garlic. It was just cooked dough. My wings were bad too. I’m very disappointed.

The prices are reasonable but sometimes the food quality is bad. I’ve had burnt pizza and downright nasty pizza. I’ve tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt but I have to call a spade a spade at some point. The constant staff changes makes the food quality terrible. Train your people better. I don’t want burnt pizza. It’s kind of a no-brainer. ‍♂️

Normally, I’m just quickly in and out of here since I either order online or by phone. I like the pizza here. Only once was the pizza not great (could’ve stayed in the oven for 10 more minutes). I’ve ordered since, and the food was great. Currently, I like the Papa Bites, especially the Oreo ones. I tried the Chicken Parmesan bites today, they were good but a little more meat inside them would’ve made them awesome.

This place have never ever ever ever ever have napkins I pick up the deliver is here every day in a daily basis two and three deliveries and with the pizza and with the wings, you got a mess up in your hands and how come that you have a company that sells food and you don’t have napkins for your customers, I make money with my reviews and eventually I like to trade my customer with the proper service and when you deliver a pizza, you must have napkins and paper plates and pepper

THIS PIZZA IS AMAZING! We tried the barbecue chicken pizza and fell in love!!!!!! It’s BREATHTAKING, 100/10 would recommend! Service is very fast, the men were very nice and professional. This was on two separate equations. Try the barbecue chicken pizza if you haven’t had it ever before! Or even just by this specific company, like us!
