It has been a while since I been to Papa John’s. Saw they had a buy one get one free pizza promotion. Decided to see if anything had changed.
I was not too thrilled with their signature “The Works” Pizza. It looked like it was thrown together with no care and parts if it needed to be cut better.
The taste was fine, but the lack of toppings on the outside ruined the experience.
I have ordered over 30 of these in the past…this was one of the worst looking ones ever.
The outside of it has no toppings. The inside is all thrown together. There is no way to tell what pizza was ordered.

We ordered our pizza at 730 pm after an hour and a half I called to see where order was. I was on hold for 11 minutes and finallly a manager got on the phone told me the delivery driver left with my order 10 minutes prior even though it showed still preparing on app. 10 min after getting off the phone with manager we got notification that Door Dash would be delivering our order and the driver was at the store waiting for it. I called again and was on hold for another 10 minutes and was disconnected. It has now been 2 hours and 10 minutes uses since we ordered and we still do not have our order.

Was left on hold for 10 minutes. Our pizza was delayed an hour. Walked into the store while on hold she was playing on her phone while the other employee was cleaning. She originally said that my order wasn’t placed through them and couldn’t find the order until I had pull up my order in the app this is ridiculous. I do not recommend this Papa Johns to anybody. You can get better service elsewhere.

Ordered garlic Parmesan bread sticks and the garlic butter was literally dripping out of the box. I had ordered garlic sauce with it but got marinara instead. Cinnamon bread was good though. Everything was just very messy.
Editing this review after 2 more incidents with this location. The first one was actually from my mom, who made an order online but upon arrival got the completely wrong pizza. When she called the store, the girl making the food said she thought it was a mistake and made what she thought would be a better order (as a former GM for pizza chains I would never do that, I’d at least call and confirm to avoid food waste if it was that weird. It wasn’t, it was just olives on pizza.) when we called in about this, the worker we spoke to was a bit rude and insisted on giving me a credit on my account (just a note for a free pizza) rather than refunding the order. (Bigger problems besides wrong pizza, the delivery order actually had to be picked up).
Tonight, I took a chance and ordered a bacon pizza. Whoever made this pizza isn’t good at it, not nearly enough toppings and it all sunk to the middle. Each piece has 1-2 bites of bacon and then the rest of the pizza is cheese. Please retrain your people

Gave Papa John’s a few tries since they outsource order-taking to the Philippines. Given a pickup time >>>> Multiple Times of 15 minutes for pickup when realistically each was over 2 1/2 hours…absolutely ridiculous!!! Fix the pickup times and maybe I’ll be back. This store has really gone downhill FAST!!!

My hubby and I just love Papa John’s Pizza! My hubby won’t eat any others. He worked late and I just left seeing my newborn baby girl grandchild. My daughter and her hubby live an hour and a half away. So, it’s a grab dinner night on the way home. Papa John’s Pizza is a perfect start to a wonderful evening!

Decided to try Papa John’s tonight. We ordered a medium 5 topping pizza. It had pepperoni, sausage, cheese, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. Average amount of toppings but the vegetables were a little too liquidity for pizza. Pretty good amount of cheese that was cooked pretty good. This location does a massive amount of delivery and a fair amount of pickup. At least this night. Each pizza comes with a container of garlic butter, Yummmy!! All the employees were extremely busy and the cashier greeted each individual entering the business. The pizza is just okay, much better in the Grove City area.

Placed an order with over 25 pizzas, the store refused to answer the phone after my order showed as “Picked Up” when i had not gotten the order. The phone line gave me an international line for ordering pizza, and they would transfer to the store where you got no answer. Papa John’s is absolutely falling apart, and this location is as bottom tier as it gets.

Placed order at 5:30 for delivery at 6:45. It’s 7:00 and still not here and no one is picking up the phones. It’s great pizza but the customer satisfaction is horrible! I’d recommend moving forward, just order from Pizza Hut, it’s just up the road and times are better.
