So I used to be a store manager at a Papa John’s, and I can say with certainty, if the pizzas coming out of my store were like these at the Davy Crockett travel center, I’d have to let every employee go and hire all new people. I got the chicken bacon ranch, cheesestix and a 2 liter. That was one of their current promotions. While the flavor was OK, it wasn’t great. The topping portion seemed like it was within specs, but it was hard to judge that because there was 3 or 4 big bubbles in the pizza that slid the toppings all around. The cheesestix were almost as bad with the bubbles and were cut very irregular as a result. I will say the employees were friendly enough, they did get my order correct including the extra garlic sauce I purchased. I had to ask for Parmesan and crushed red peppers a second time, though and I also had to ask for my 2 liter. Then I had to ask for regular Pepsi instead of the diet he was trying to hand me. They did do the square cut as requested even though I forgot to ask for it when ordering, so there’s that. And finally, the pepperoncini, which is one of my favorite parts, was dried up and just completely inedible. I couldn’t even get a bite out of it. Basically, this store needs to have more inspections in my opinion, because I know it’s not up to Papa John’s standards. Do better, folks.

I travel for work, and have to say this place makes THE BEST CHEESE STICKS. Every papa johns around the US and Canada they suck, but here they’re amazing. Please don’t change your method

The staff here do their best, but this is a SUPER BUSY location! So be patient with them. Let them know if your order is wrong, because they will remake it as many times as they need to. They’re a great team of ladies and gents! I get pizza from here every time I’m laid over here at this travel plaza!

I waited 25 minutes on 2 10 piece boneless wings!
While waiting, I observed many health violations.
Picking up frozen wings with no gloves. Filthy shirts, personal drinks everywhere. One of the employees’ nose was bleeding close to where the dirty shirt guy was rolling dough.. I hope the guy washed his hands , but I couldn’t see around the corner.. and here is a picture of the wings I received. Dryed up over cooked.

Came thru ordered a 2 pizzas , wings and a 2 liter , one pizza was wrong I asked for a light sauce pepperoni and hamburger pizza , got my order and got home and opened it to this it was rung up light cheese ! Called the store and was told to drive it back up and bring it in to have a remake done even tho he said he was sorry he put it in wrong . Now usually this wouldnt be to big an issue but considering I live 45 mins from that store and it wasn’t my mess up . Young guy didn’t seem to even care to much and was really not enthusiastic about his job .

The pizza was delicious and fresh, and the cashier (young girl) was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. We ordered and picked up our pizza from the truck stop and enjoyed it inside of our truck.

Truck stop pizza place I’m really surprised the flavor is garbage. Papa John’s use to be about quality and sadly this was not it. Ordered wings that looked like they was taken off pigeons and the pizza has no Alfredo taste whatsoever you can do better at this location.

Just moved to the area. Ordered an xl pizza and wings for delivery. It took TWO hours to receive our order (2.5 miles away). We specifically ordered ALL flat wings with mild sauce. The wings came naked and had a lot of drumsticks. We called the store to explain the situation and they said they couldn’t do anything about it unless we brought them in to them. We had them delivered for a reason, and after waiting 2 hours, we were starving and said it’s fine. But this is not fine. This place is a joke and so is the management. The store said they can’t take orders for all flats, okay, so why did they? Why not offer us a free pizza or store credit (like other pizza places do?) This place is a joke. We will never give this place business again. $70 wasted. For a pizza and a few wings (which were not what we ordered!)
