I called a week in advance to place an order to feed a bunch of students. Papa johns was 40 minutes late to delivering the pizza. They didn’t call and warn me. I called twice and spoke to the manager, as I had hungry students waiting, and the manager never apologized. He just said they were running late. Once the pizza arrived 40 minutes late, it was warm and the delivery man was amazing. He apologized and helped us carry the pizzas to where the students were waiting. However, a warning on late pizza would’ve been helpful.

It’s 9pm on a Friday night, with friends over: I went through the “less than enjoyable” long process of figuring out what everyone wanted. We decided Papa John’s. Then everyone had to settle on what they wanted to eat. I’ve been going to this location for years and they have always had my order ready on time. Staff is courteous and my orders have been accurate 99% of the time. The couple of times I received the wrong order they made sure it was corrected and then some.

Every time I get a pepperoni pizza it tastes a little off. So much that it’s nasty. It could just be my taste buds, but I haven’t had covid so idk. Tastes funky at all Papa Johns. I went to several just to make sure it wasn’t just the one or 2 places.

Popa John’s pizza is a mediocre pizza place. The pizza is ok but nothing special. The new Popa Bowls are absolutely horrible. You get a pan roughly 6x9x2 and the ingredients don’t even cover the bottom of the pan all the way and is just barely more than paper thin. If you want good pizza and you want a great keto bowl option, skip Popa John’s if you are in Dayton and go to First Avenue Pizza. Much better taste for the pizza and easily 100 times better pizza bowls. Popa John’s needs to do better or close down. I will say Popa John’s delivery drivers in Dayton are pretty good.
