Ordered the “new” deep dish pizza online using the app at my local Pleasant View, TN location. I didn’t check if my pizza was correct till I arrived back at home…my fault. Totally wrong pizza in the box. Called and spoke with Mgr at the store. She was very apologetic and told me she would personally remake my pizza based on my online order. Drove back to store to pick up the remake opened box looked good and left. Arrived home and began to eat pizza dough was NOT cooked. Dough was rushed didn’t even rise properly to be regular crust much less Deep Dish. Mgr used said dough to remake my pizza and served me uncooked pizza crust. If you want pizza….ORDER from somewhere else!!

I ordered a pizza that I liked for almost $30. I was so disappointed, this looks like a mess, all the onion they put on top is the peel, it was bitter. The pizza is terrible, you can’t even bite it because it’s so hard. It feels like plastic, and I wanted to report this to Uber, and it doesn’t even qualify for a refund, which makes me feel ripped off by this restaurant. You can’t even eat it, it’s bitter and completely stiff.

Ordered carryout at 4:46 p.m. 1 lg., 1 med, 1 cheese bread, 1papadia, and 1 cookie. App tracker said 5:06-5:16 ready. Immediately showing they were making the pizza. I arrived at 5:16. There were 3 people waiting and 2 workers. No workers ever spoke or asked if they could help me for at least 5 plus minutes. Finally, 1 worker came over and called 2 names saying those were ready and 4 or 5 more orders that were next up, none of which were mine. The worker went from tapping on the computer straight back to touching all the food without washing hands or gloves, multiple times. Several people came in and out, and a couple left with food. After about 15 minutes of waiting another worker came in the front door of the store with his energy drink, AGAIN straight to the register never washing his hands. He told me mine was next to be made. I explained it was supposed to be picked up over 15 min ago. He said sorry then proceeded to go make pizzas, again NEVER washing his hands. Some people canceled orders after ordering online and being told it would be 30+ more minutes before they woukd have them ready. Finally at 5:46, I received my orders. I told him I understood a busy night, but he needed to at least wash his hands. People don’t want food he has been touching without at least washing his hands. Very negative experience and service!

Not getting Papa John’s anymore. I called to order 1 XL pepperoni pizza at 5:28 pm which I had to order from an outsourced service and then transferred again to make my payment. I was told it would be ready in 34 minutes. So I get to the location and go inside to to let them know I was there at 6:00pm and he tells me it will be ready in 34 minutes. So over an hour in all I have to wait now. And there was no apology or anything

Pizza was just meh. Not worth $50 for two pizzas. And we really just want accurate wait times. The website says “it’ll be ready around 7:30” but then you get to the store in that window to pick up and the employee says it’ll be another 20 mins….

Expect your food to be at least 30 to 45 mins after the time the app tells you it will be ready. No concern about people’s time to make a decision if they want to go somewhere else. False lies about when it will be ready. Told 15 mins when I got there then another 5 mins which turned into 20 mins. We could had decided to go to subway and have our sandwiches ready and on our way home before they had our pizza ready when they told us when it would be ready. We have several free pizzas on our account which we have never used. Just do yourself the favor and expect 2 to 3 times the wait.
Food is a toss up if they got it right.

I ordered a parm crusted buffalo chicken papadilla, no onions and add bacon, that came out no bacon, no parm crust, and seemingly extra onions. I also thought papadillas were supposed to be thinner crust type things. This one came out like a regular pizza crust was folded in half and random stuff shoved in it. Highly disappointing.

Was told he forgot the second 20 oz Mountain Dew, which I said was fine, that has happened with this place more than once, and I was just hungry, so then I came inside and opened the pizza box to find the pizza crushed up and the box of the breadsticks looked like someone had sat on them. Pizza was like prechewed gum, not “New York style”. Wasn’t even cut properly.

Every single time we have ordered our order has been wrong. We will take several months off, give them another chance, then they fail again. It’s disastrous. When we have called there is zero accountability. Meh.
