Let me just say Papa John’s Calera came through in a clutch (in my 16 year old sons words). I just say they saved the day!
Pros
– Easy to order online.
– I called to make sure that our wings were well done. The young lady who answered was very energetic, enthusiastic and eager to assist.
– Conveniently located near my home.
– Fresh Ingredients – Delicious Food.
– Pipping Hot (We showered before we ate because we had been at the hospital all morning) Food was still hot, no microwave needed
– Fast Service (Online or At the Window)
– Family Special Offer under “Specials” online only $24.99 for two Large pizzas.

Ordered a Garden Veggie minus bell peppers and olives, add spinach and 3-cheese blend. There are not enough vegetables on this “specialty” pizza, and I don’t think I got the 3-cheese blend AT ALL. Usually pizzas with several toppings get a little cheese to stop everything falling off. I wanted more than that. The BBQ Meats pizza was the opposite–piled high with toppings, but not enough to keep everything on it when slices picked up. I didn’t expect lots of cheese on top of the meat pizza. But 3-cheese blend was literally a topping on the vegetable pizza. I am disappointed. I only ordered because Domino’s is having problems with online ordering and I wanted different cheeses. Pizza Hut only has mozzarella… which is what I got. At least I could’ve had a thick crust.

Ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza and I was disappointed. Doesn’t seem like the cheese was scattered evenly and it left a few slices with hardly any cheese. Not to mention the insane amount of sauce they put on the pizza. I’ve ordered this pizza before and it has NEVER been like this. Very disappointing and just shows the inconsistency of this Papa John’s.

the worst customer service ever! they just didn’t care, and lied and told me she was the franchise owner. I’m certain she was not, if I’m wrong and she actually happens to be a store owner, than Papa John’s will be out of business soon if their selling franchises to folks like this.
We ordered take out, my wife took the dog for a walk to pickup our order. when she got there she was told they didn’t have an order for her. she called me, and walked back home. I called the store and was told yes, we have your order. Great can you just deliver it us and I’ll pay when it gets here, is what I said and they agreed ..it never got here.
I called the next day and spoke with “the manager” she had an attitude from hello, she said “if you want to pick it up, order take out. if you want to pay for delivery, order delivery.”
I wanted it delivered but didn’t think I should have to pay your $4.95 delivery charge when you couldn’t hold an order yesterday or deliver my order when you did find it, so no, you should definitely deliver my order without anymore delays and I will pay for the other and tip the driver but I will not pay your delivery fee. I literally live across the street from this location. we have been regulars for a long time, sad to see you go by the wayside Papa Johns,
and good luck to the bitter young lady I spoke with. consider honey, its better than the vinegar falling out of your mouth. and maybe look up the definition of customer services or get yourself out of the service industry, I think everyone would really appreciate that

Good food, customer service is also really nice! Takes like 7 minutes to get my food, depending on how big my order is 😀

I placed a order around 8:30, the website said they closed at 9, the order said it would be delivered at 9:30 so i called to just check to make sure it would still be delivered, The what sounded like a young girl answered and was very rude, and she hung up in my face when i wasn’t even done talking.. my food hasn’t gotten here yet but i’m not sure i want it anymore to be honest. Update got my food and omg.

I usually love papa John’s. However, today, I ordered the XL New York style pizza. I was unaware that a New York style pizza was barely done. It was also greasy as all get out. Would not recommend this location. I have encountered several food quality issues. And just try to get a hold of a manager! Good luck if you do decide to risk it.

We’ve ordered from them since they opened. After some initial growing pains, we’ve had great experiences with them. We ordered last night and had an issue with the pizza that was delivered. A quick phone call later and the very polite manager has our replacement pizza out within 20 min. Great service and always timely delivery!
