Ordered online for pickup, got to the store when the app said my order was ready. THAT’S when a worker told me they were out of brownies, instead of calling me when he received the order. I reluctantly waited 10+ minutes for a cinnamon pull-apart to cook while the rest of my food was getting cold.
After getting the whole order to my car, I decided to check it for accuracy. The 10-piece boneless wings only had 8 pieces. Went back inside, waited another 10+ minutes. The guy cooked me 4 pieces instead of 2.
Got home (just 4 minutes from the store), and all of the food was cold except the 4 boneless pieces. But, they had the wrong sauce on them.
Oh, and the pull-apart was burnt and dry.

UPDATE: A few hours later, I received a post-order email from Papa John’s to review my experience, which I did. The feedback form asked if I wanted to be contacted. I marked YES. The next day, I received another email asking me about my “resolution experience.” I marked NO, I was never contacted, and YES, I wanted them to notify the “team” of that fact. I have now filled out that same feedback form every day for more than a week. Still to this day, no one has bothered to contact me about the pathetic experience I had.
This tells me that, along with the local franchise, Papa John’s corporate also does not care about its customers. I will never do business with this company again.

Order several boxes of pizza about a week in advanced the manager was appreciative and I understand, especially around this time of the year (football). Our order was ready at the agreed upon time, it was fresh, and provided us with all the last minute extras we needed. This is only my second order in 5 years from this location. 1st order was late, cold and quality was poor. Customer service was poor. I wanted to try again to order pizza from this location and same story, different day. If you are looking for long wait times on delivery pizza, order from this location. You won’t be disappointed in how long you have to wait. Unacceptable Papa John’s. Do better.

Order 2 pizzas and they never came and the store wouldn’t answer the phone. Ordered at 5pm. This is the second time this has happened. Terrible service and the pizza is usually cold when it does arrive. Don’t eat here. Order from the alabaster location.

I have had Papa John’s delivered to my truck all over the country, the driver called to confirm location , much better than the driver calling after they can’t find me.

We ordered two pizzas and literally 2 hours later got the pizzas and they were cold. We did not get the drink we ordered or the extra sauces. We tried to stop the driver and let him know but he took off. We called the store and told them hoping they could call him and have them bring it right back. They then call back about 10 minutes later and tell us they are out of the drink we ordered and so we tell them a different one. We never got the drink or extra sauces. Worst experience we have ever had with ordering pizza. Will not order from this location again. Sucks too because we love Papa John’s.

I will NEVER order from Papa John’s again. We ordered pizza last Thursday and it was a terrible experience. I ordered at 5:30 and it wasn’t delivered until 8:30. The pizza took 3 hours to be delivered. No apologies or anything. I even called and hour and a half after I placed the order, since they said it would be delivered in an hour, to check the status of order and it was still in the oven. No apologies or explanations. I also ordered extra sauce on the pizza and there was no sauce on it. It was cold when it was delivered and we couldn’t eat it. DO NOT order from this location.

Food quality went down over a period of last three years. Pizzas were burnt or irregularly cut. Some pizzas had diverts where crust was missing, like it wasn’t rolled out correctly.
The worst of it was the delivery times and differences in app notices of “your pizza is on its way” to actual delivery. Longest wait was 4 hours.
There was a short time where their phone was broken and you couldn’t speak with anyone to check status of late food.
We have gave 3 chances to get better and we’re disappointed each time after.
