Ordered a large hamburger, jalapeño, onion pizza. The worst pizza ever!! No meat, except one piece you could actually see a sign of some hamburger. So disappointing, called manager to see how they make them. He stated they use 2 cups of hamburger on a large pizza. I would almost say they left off the hamburger if not for the one piece with signs of meat. First time for a jalapeño, onion pizza…. Not good!

We order a pizza. I go to pick it up at the time they told me to. When I get there, they tell me it’s going to be another 30 minutes and apologize, saying they’re really busy. I understand, so I go sit in my truck because there’s nowhere to sit inside. 35 minutes later, I go back in and they tell me it’s going to be another 25 minutes. If I hadn’t already paid, I’d tell them to keep it. Worked 10 hours today. Just want to go home, eat, and shower, but instead I’m stuck in Papa John’s parking lot.

Hey I just want to give a shout out to you guys.. Dave was super cool and took care of me over a discrepancy!! In the past there was a Manager named Ashley that I wrote a bad review about. She’s gone now and Dave is there!! Total change in Customer service for the better and now it feels good to go back because Papa John’s is my favorite. Thank you guys for listening and I hope you guys notice Dave for being such a great guy to deal with!!

My review is on Rob who makes the pizza for pick up orders. I have lived in the area for five years and never had any issues. I stopped eating pizza for over a year and recently started back ordering and every single time I order and go into the store or send my kids in to get our order the service is always great. Rob knows me by name and I honestly never knew his name until today. He is kind, friendly and a great person. We mainly order meatless pizza and honestly it’s some of the best pizza that I have ever had. No other pizza in the area can compare. I have had other staff ring me up and assist me and never have any issues. I wish nothing but success for this store and keep employees like Rob around, Ocala needs more of him. Thanks Rob, Horace.

I ordered a medium double pepperoni pan pizza. I was supposed to get a text message when it was ready but never got one. I wasn’t given the pizza or allowed to examine it before I paid for it. Pizza hut always shows you the pizza before paying for it. When I looked at it heading out the door it did not look like double pepperoni. I went back in and asked if that was double pepperoni while showing the pizza to the clerk. He lied to me and siad it was. I asked how many slices is regular for a medium. He said 32; therefore, double should be 64. I proceeded to count in front of him and didn’t even reach 40. When the manager at the store heard what was going on all she could do is look at me like “Damn he caught me.” It was suggested I could wait around for another 15 minutes for them to make the right pizza after I caught their lies. I was tired and hungry and had already waited 30 minutes. When I got home and started eating it, I found the dough was raw in the middle. I threw it out. This is the worst pan pizza ever. If you want pan pizza stick with the OG’s at pizza hut or go to Chicago and never go to this store.

A few of the gentleman that work here recognized me when I came into the door, set a recognized me from always being a positive person and picking up trash outside. But I came in this particular day because one of the employees at blessed me with a free pizza gift card, in which I was extremely grateful because I didn’t have any money for food this day nor do I have any means at the moment to acquire any so I was very thankful these guys are awesome I got the pizza topped with spinach swiss cheese it was absolutely delicious and fresh.

I ordered 20 boneless Hot lemon pepper and 20 boneless honey Chipotle they were delivered with sauce drizzled on them. I called the store of course and the managers response blew my mind. He said they are trained to not toss the bigger order but to instead toss them from the oven to the box then drizzle the sauce. This is false advertisement and a really horrible way to do business. I won’t be ordering from here again. Posting this just so others will see what they will receive instead what’s posted on their websites. Thanks for my drizzled chicken nuggest…..

Not “NY Style” Pizza! If you have had actual NY style pizza from a pizza parlor Papa John’s is in no way reminiscent of NY Style. Pic on LT – Papa John’s. On RT real NY Style pizza. Actual NY has a thicker crust and no sauce on the crust. The dough is light and airy not heavy and the bottom of the pizza is done – not doughy and chewy. And most importantly NY style is baked in a pizza oven not on a conveyor belt. What a waste of $20. Very disappointing!
