Made the mistake of ordering one the new pan pizzas last night – big mistake. Undercooked. Like a frozen pizza that was not cooked long enough. Soggy. Disgusting. Ended up throwing it away. Bad ingredients, bad pizza – Papa John’s.

I got a Hawaiian pizza and there was hardly any toppings on it. So few on toppings that it was like eating a cheese pizza. The crust flavor is very sweet and chewy so it reminds me of a frozen pizza you make in the oven yourself at home. Service was a bit annoying as well when you opt to pay at the store doing an online order. You’re left standing in a line waiting for people to place their order while your pizza sits on a metal shelf. I feel like there could be a better system for that or possibly warmers to keep the pizza in so it isn’t getting cold. This in all honesty was a step below dominos pizza as far as topping scarcity and dough flavor. This wouldn’t be my first choice in a pizza place with so many better options in pace.

Last night was the 1st time we ordered pizza since Marco’s went out of business in Pace. We will NOT be ordering from Papa John’s again. We actually threw out the pizza after we both took a bite. It tasted like cardboard with a little sauce sprinkled on it! A frozen pizza would have been better!

I ordered online for delivery at 6pm. When the pizza didn’t arrive at 6, I checked the tracker which said delivery between 6-6:10. When 6:15 rolled around and still no pizza, I checked tracker again which had the same projected delivery time. Around 6:30, I tried to call the store to cancel the order. I got stuck in a never ending message loop for 5 minute and finally hung up. Shortly after that the tracker changed to door dash delivery. At 7pm the pizza finally arrived, over cooked and luke warm. Truly terrible experience.

We ordered just a simple cheese pizza and still wasnt satisfied. It was more grease than anything and its like each time we go the original crust gets smaller and smaller. Tonight the crust was near nonexistent. I double checked to make sure I hadn’t ordered new york style crust by mistake but unfortunately it appears that they just ripped me off. It will be the last time unless they stop being stingy.
