I cannot say enough good things about the Papa Johns on 1650 Margaret Street (Store #2883). Rick and Shaniqua were nothing short of AMAZING.
I accidentally placed a large order of 22 pizzas for the wrong date. When my employee Daniel went to pick them up for a company luncheon, Rick immediately noticed the issue and explained that the order was actually scheduled for the next day. Instead of turning us away, Rick stepped up and offered to make all 22 pizzas on the spot.
Here’s the part that truly blew me away:
Rick and Shaniqua were the ONLY two employees working, and they managed to make all 22 pizzas in under 45 minutes. The pizzas were fresh, hot, accurate, and ready in time for our event.
This level of professionalism, teamwork, urgency, and customer care is rare. Rick and Shaniqua turned what could have been a disaster into an incredible experience. Because of them, this location has earned our loyalty for good.
Give these two a raise—they represent customer service at its absolute best!

This is from 3 different consecutive days as I set out to redeem my pizza craze with 1 pizza a day for my 2,000 calories per day. Each time I ordered extra sauce well done. 2 of them was the Newyork style and 1 was the epic cheese stuff crust. When I walk in the building they was like he’s back i heard them I guess mumbling that I guess they don’t like me or something… but I’m totally disappointed dissatisfied. Feel like I waste my time… ya know. I take it serious. I ate it only cause.. but bouy. For me it’s not worth it. Barely eatable. They didn’t honor my request for sauce or cheese or well done baked. I didn’t tip. I guess that might what it could be about… but this is a takeout… sauce was on one slice of the whole pizza making it basically like bread and cheese expect that 1 slice. Cheese pizza. As doesn’t eat meat. This is the closest location near my home! 1st day was good. As you can tell which one was the first. 2,000 calories per day wasted… day wasted. Whole pizza was all ate for entire day. So. I’m just disappointed not mad. IF WANT A TIP. GOT TO EARN THE TIP. I know ya know people probably rely on tips. But people shouldn’t. That’s how I feel. Shouldn’t rely on tip. Rely on doing good service doing good business. Being a decent person being a consistent person to where your the same person everyday regardless of. So that shows what type your dealing with. Bad bunnies. Thumbs down

Feb. 14th I struggled to make my moms Valentine’s day come true, I am in pa. She is in fl. She wanted a pizza. She lives in five points, Riverside. On oak st. Short story, it is difficult to get a pizza delivered unless you want to use a Uber or go on line to us door dash. All my 88 year old mom was want a pizza. Papa John’s made that happen for her on Valentine’s day. She was so surprised and couldn’t believe that they brought her so many boxes, it was like Christmas to her and I thank you apa John’s and your delivery man that was so kind to her. Merikay PA

unfortunately, I am only able to give two stars because they completely stiffed me on my icing dipping cup on the side and it’s frustrating. the cheese sticks were really good and it arrived super fast, but opening the oreo bites to see no cup of icing when I asked for it and it even says it on the label was disappointing and it makes them pretty much inedible so I feel like I wasted $. I was gonna leave a good review until I saw that it was missing.

I ordered cheesesticks and a large stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni and bacon… why did I open the box why the cheesesticks cut like that not a bad thing but who did this and why and then noticed they aren’t really good at doing their toppings when I looked at reviews and noticed there’s like 2 slices with nothing on them when we ordered bacon and pepperoni . I know they do the toppings and then cheese on top but, do better please. People spending money on what they want and you’re doing a bland job.

The pizza taste like it was a frozen pizza. It was cold. There was nothing good about this pizza and if you called them back, they don’t say anything, but oh we are. Sorry sorry you should offer me my money back or replacement that was not a fresh pizza I had it here in my house within 15 minutes. They told me it’s gonna take at least 45 minutes. It was cold and it tasted just like a frozen pizza. The garlic butter was cold and super thick bad business.

My pizza came completely messed up and uneatable for the second time in a row. I am trying to feed my hungry daughter and I can’t even give her this. The general manager Rick fixed the problem but this is still unacceptable. Will not be coming back.

I wanted some bread sticks with a little red sauce. The guy making it lost his mind over it. I paid for what I wanted, and I didn’t want anything for free. The bread sticks were great. The guy making it was a jerk

I’m extremely disappointed with Papa John’s in Riverside, a place I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with for the past 8 years. Every time I order, whether it’s delivery or to-go, there’s always an issue. They seem to have a problem delivering peppers and sauces, which is ridiculous considering they’re part of the order .
My latest experience was a disaster. The pizza was severely undercooked, with raw dough and veggies. It’s unacceptable that a pizza chain can’t even get the basics right. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after 8 years of consistent disappointment, I’m done.
The lack of quality control and attention to detail is staggering. Papa John’s needs to step up their game and start prioritizing customer satisfaction.
Rating: 1/5 stars
Will I be back? Unfortunately, I’ve already given them too many chances. It’s time to take my business (and appetite) elsewhere.
