I eat papajohns like an embarassingly high amount. Love the pizza. I had a gift card for papajohns and it doesnt even work on the app or any of the stores that i went to. So I went to get a pizza and was told I can drive down there and then the gift card still doesnt work. So I used a credit card, which got charged twice. They did void one of them but by the time I got home after trying to figure out the gift card thing with the employee, my pizza was cold. I mean, now I just had a bad experience and I was only getting pizza because I had a gift card. I ended up having to pay for it and I wasnt even able to enjoy it .
I want to add that the staff at the location are very helpful, this situation would be either a franchise or corporate leadership issue. Papajohns has been around too long to have an issue like that across multiple stores and the app. The stores crews have always been super great.

Update: I am still in love with Papa Johns. Today I tried the cheese pizza with the stuffed crust with pepperoni and it was delicious!!!!!! My order is always right. I never walk in to get my order and get bad service. I love the customer service. My usual is the meats but my grandboy wanted cheese and I am glad we got it! It was the bomb!

The food is delicious however because some people have had issues with thinking their pizza was undercooked (when it wasn’t. Papa John’s cheese just melts differently.) they started putting the toppings under the cheese which causes them to get soggy. I remedy this by calling after placing my order online to request my toppings be on top of the cheese.

We ordered a pizza for delivery last night, and it was estimated to be delivered within ~30 mins. The pizza was delivered 1.5 hours after the order was placed. The driver walked up to our home holding the pizza sideways. The pizza was cold and the way the pizza was cut did not align with the ingredients selected (which were half and half). We generally have enjoyed Papa Johns in the past, but this experience differed from past experiences.

My mother was trying to make an order online and I was trying to make a separate order and she was going to pick up both orders but on the app it says the store is closed and they told her that they can’t match the online deal but they can only do the $10 deal with one topping but you can build any kind of pizza for $10. I’m pretty sure they have that off somehow where they don’t get as many orders because they are lazy right now or getting too many orders doesn’t matter still bad customer service didn’t even try to accommodate

I had a pizza picked up two pizza , they forgot one of the pizza sauce. I checked order before calling. They did make me another pizza. They kept the pizza I brought back. I hope they don’t resell it

Perhaps there wasn’t much training from the start. Hopefully the staff at this location are reading this comment, merely for correction and not criticism. When serving onions, always peel past the first thick layer for it’s always very tough and not edible. Keeping them at a uniform size is suggested. Surprise huge chunks of nearly raw onion buried underneath cheese is not pleasant to the palate Chicago Cut means just that. The pizza is to be cut squared vs. triangular. Please do not give options if you’re going to decide how you want the pizza cut. This is totally not acceptable therefore you deserve 1 star.
