I’ve been a regular customer at Papa John’s and have always appreciated their pizza, but my recent experience with a delivery order has left me quite frustrated.
On 11/23/25, I placed my order at 6:13 PM, and the estimated delivery time was 6:55 PM. I started tracking the order around 6:40 PM, only to see that the DoorDash driver was heading to another location first. I understood that things can happen, but I was still hopeful since the tracking indicated the original ETA.
By 7:15 PM, the tracker showed the driver heading back to the store, which made me quite concerned. I called the store and spoke to an employee, who informed me that my order was picked up a while ago. He assured me the driver would arrive soon but made a comment about DoorDash not being reliable, which did not help my frustration. He told me to call back if it wasn’t delivered in 20 minutes.
At 7:48 PM, the driver still hadn’t arrived, and it wasn’t until 8:00 PM that my order was finally delivered. When the driver did arrive, he took several minutes to get out of the van, which added to my irritation. The pizza was in a DoorDash heat bag, but unfortunately, the boxes were soggy and cold. Even the food inside was unappetizing.
I called back to the store to express my dissatisfaction, and while the employee was apologetic, his dismissive tone when discussing blocking the DoorDash driver was off-putting. After being a loyal customer, I left feeling disrespected and considering whether I want to continue ordering from this location.
I hope management can take this feedback seriously and work to improve their delivery service and customer service.

Luke was the manager on duty. He said he’s been working there a while. He refused to give me my money back. I live an hour away and he said the “policy” was to give another one of equal value not your money back. He was smacking gum as he talked on the phone and seemed unfazed. I do not recommend this store especially since customer service and good quality isn’t a priority,

I wanted to give these wonderful women, and man, a great review, because they did their thing on my pizza, something so minor as a cheese pizza can light up anyone’s day, especially if they cooked it to perfection for me. I don’t give to many reviews, but when I do it means a ton to me, thank you ladies and gentleman for something that’s so simple made a night like mine one to remember. I would like to first of all say thank you to Kelly at Domino’s Pizza for helping me solve my dilemma and here’s the story…
So hubby gave me 40$ amf said I need a 5 pound pizza and a soda and get you a soda and a pizza at Papa Johns Pizza. I used to love papas and so I agreed and I downloaded the app again cuz I knew I had some papa bucks in there from a while back I was gonna use them for a cookie or something.
I order the two pizzas and the sodas and when it got to the checkout page the total was 51.99. I had close to 15$ in papa bucks so I went ahead and applied that and a 20% off promo code and it brought it down to 39.37. So I paid it and waited for the pizza.
When I received the items I opened them there at the counter, and I was so disappointed , mostly in myself for even paying in advance because there was a countable number of items on this pizza, it was stuffed crust and sauce and cheese and I could see possibly 12 items aside from that it was thin and just didn’t look good at all.
I rushed over to dominos and I told Kelly what had happened to me and that I had 20$ to my name could she please make me the right pizza for my husband for that, she agreed.
So for 17.99 I had her make him the 5 pound pizza he asked for wanted and asked for.
I have added pictures of both pizzas and their respective prices that i paid. I am never going to papa John’s again. Thank you dominos you really make an impressive pizza!

This Papa John’s is located in the Sawmill Plaza and is adjoined to the Circle K gas station. I really like this location, the staff are friendly and efficient. They do not deliver, but they use Door Dash. I like that they have a drive thru window. They do have a small area to dine in, but it is mostly for carry out. My most favorite part is their pizza by the slice special. You can get a slice of pizza for $3 (and it is a large size slice) or a combo that is a slice and bread sticks for $6! They also include a small garlic sauce. My husband and I grab a slice there often. It is convenient and you can’t beat Papa John’s pizza and garlic sauce. I highly recommend this location.

I can’t eat pizza from no where but papa John’s and we have always had a wonderful experience with Papa John’s. All except for when there was not one but two car accidents and knocked off the power to all of LaGrange Georgia on commerce avenue side of town it was offal that day and it was on a Friday to boot people was a little bit up set I do believe that there was one that was at commerce and highway 27which is new Franklin Rd because the Red light wasn’t working on count of the power outage.
