On September 30th, I received the Worst Customer Service To Date. I Ordered a Thin Crust pizza with extras. The driver couldn’t locate my apartment even though they were able to deliver the evening before with no problem. The driver Kevin asked me if I could “come out” in spite of the fact that this was a “Delivery” order. As I was about to leave I opened my door and a female “Dropped” the order on the doorstep. When I inspected the order the toppings were on the box lids and cardboard insides. I took a picture, called the store, asked for the manager, was left on hold for approximately 10 minutes only to be insulted by the individual who “TOLD ME” they were making my order again and “You can pick it up when you get here”. Question: What is the purpose of DELIVERY?? I had to remove my pajamas, get a driver and leave my house for something that was “supposed to be ‘Delivery’. When I arrived at the location the “so-called” manager for the 4th time REFUSED to provide their name when asked in person they still refused to provide their name. But said: “I’m tired of talking with you” and then walked to the back of the store while other team members assisted incoming patrons. They were taking orders while speaking with these individuals “over mines and my daughter’s head giving the establishment’s persona that my child and our needs were inconsequential. The “”So-Called Manager who NEVER SUPPLIED THEIR NAME (NO NAME TAG) went to the back, her colleague handled the register. The “No Named Manager” returned, began to make a pizza and after a few moments came to the cash register with a replacement order whereby I told her once again I didn’t want the replacement order. I then informed her that WHEN I INITIALLY ENTERED THE STORE MY WORDS WERE” I WANT A REFUND AND I UNDERSTAND YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE DELIVERY SERVICE BUT YOU ARE NOT LISTENING TO ME”. I then told her that at “NO TIME DURING MY PHONE CALL WITH YOU WHILE EN ROUTE DID I AGREE WITH YOU FOR A REPLACEMENT ORDER. YOU TOOK THAT UPON YOURSELF”. Her Colleague step to the register, said something so I asked him “What did you say”. He said “You are manic” . I don’t believe for one moment he even knew the meaning of the word. I told them I will receive a refund after I elevate this ATROCIOUS BEHAVIOR TO CORPORATE.” “The “So-called Manager then said “You are Not Going to get it”. My account has been charged and I still did not receive my food !!!!!

After serving more than 60 years in Customer Service I am Appalled by what this “Un-Named So-called Manager” believes is okay. While my experience may not mean too much to those who have not been subjected to this cruelty, for those who have, I ask for your support against poor Customer Service regardless of where you are. Yes, I have and will continue to be a patron to other establishments where better quality customer service and where management will not tolerate this inferior type of behavior.

Placed a carryout order for 12:15 PM. When we arrived, we were told it would be another 30 minutes. While waiting, we saw a boxed order in the back that clearly looked like ours. We were told it wasn’t. After 20 more minutes, we asked again — turns out it WAS our order the whole time. Almost 50 minutes late total.

Got to the car and realized all the extra sauces we paid for were missing. Went back in, had them check the receipt, got sauces — only to get home and find they were the WRONG sauces.

We also ordered Oreo Bites and received only FIVE, no icing cup, and the box looked like someone had already taken some. We even paid for extra icing, which was missing. The dessert looked awful and honestly unsanitary.

Late food, rude service, missing items (twice), and poor quality. We paid full price for sloppy service. Won’t be back.

NEVER EVER AGAIN, will I get a pizza from Papas John’s. Service was terrible, person I spoke with was extremely rude. According to the tracker my pizza was finished st 5:40. They outsourced delivery to DoorDash. They never pick up my order until almost 6. And it never arrived until 6:15. It was ice cold. The order was wrong I ordered mushrooms, none. Called to complain and was put on hold and never pick up. Called back same rudeness and again dumped to hold.
Papa John was my go to pizza not again never. Sorry John but outa here.

I placed an online delivery order at 9:30am. Requested the delivery for 5:30pm same day. I never received information from the store about the status of my delivery. At 5:45, I tracked my order and delivery was estimated at 7:00pm. I called the store and they told me that no driver had arrived to pick up our order. It was ready and we were welcome to come and pick it up. I sent a colleague to pick it up but when he arrived they claimed no record of my order. I get on the phone with the same person I had just spoken to 15 minutes prior, gave him several names and numbers associated with my order, but he could not find it, until I told him I had just spoken to him on the phone. He then found the order. Offered a free order in the future and handed my colleague a 2-liter Mountain Dew. We were still charged a delivery fee and driver tip.

Papa’s Johns was creative in making Garlic 5-Cheese Crust Pizza. I choose the pepperoni with it. The garlic crust was not hard.

Whoever made my Garlic 5-Cheese Crust Pizza made it right ✌

It has potential, and there are aspects to the pizza that are on point, but for the last 6 weeks I’ve ordered while at work, whoever is making them is drowning the pizza in sauce. Guys, for the perfect pizza everything has to be proportional. Too much sauce and you get all the toppings and cheese sliding off when you take a bite. Too much sauce and you can’t taste the cheese or the toppings much. I used to run a couple of their restaurants back in the day, and I used to tell my teams all the time to make the pizzas the right way, not the way they like to eat them. Apparently, whoever is cooking during the day now, likes their topping swimming in a sea of sauce.

Papa John’s and Pizza Hut both now subcontract their delivery service to Door Dash. This has been a disaster for the customer, because Door Dash is awful. Also, their drivers are ridiculously lazy and untalented. If I tip the order, don’t text me in the parking lot telling me to come outside and get it. Get your rear out of your seat and come bring it to me. I don’t tip 25% or more to do the walking for you. They also continually go to the wrong place even though the address is clearly marked on the sign at the street and easy to see. I had one dasher complain to me that they can’t use GPS and have to use what Door Dash gives them. I don’t know if that’s true or just cover for explaining their own stupidity in going to the wrong address. If your job is to deliver anything at all, you need to at least make sure you can get places.

RJ was so amazing and helpful. When DoorDash messed up my order he took the time to make things right When he didn’t have to. I’m so grateful to him. If only all restaurants had a RJ in them the hospitality industry would be 1000% better! He’s definitely deserving of all the recognition.

Ordered online for delivery. Since I work a business/university – I selected that option. It pretty much prepopulated work my address correctly for me to place my order. Being that this location is literally right down the street from me, I didn’t think it would take long. After about 45 mins, I go to check my order just to find out that the address that showed up on Doordash (which I’m assuming was provided by Papa Johns” was completely wrong. The driver was headed all the way to Gervais downtown. I tried contacted both the driver and Doordash – no luck. So I called this location and told them what the problem was – to which the employee told me that I have to input the correct address, and that he would cancel my order and hung up the phone. Very poor customer service, didn’t offer to fix the problem whatsoever.
