Small takeout only location. If lobby is busy they get a little testy about their space. And they seem to be busy a lot. Must be very good pizza because I see more cars there than other pizza joints in the area.

I must admit, I was skeptical after seeing a few negative reviews, but those folks must have a chip on their shoulders because this place was fantastic! I have always loved Papa John’s Pizza, but this order was probably the best Papa John’s Pizza I’ve ever eaten. It was delivered quickly by a friendly driver and was hot and fresh and super cheesy, toppings were perfect, and it was obvious that the pizza was made with care. Ten out of ten HIGHLY RECOMMEND when in Lumberton!!!

I’m from out of town. Decided to do Papa John’s pizza becuz of promo (bus30) and the new pan style. I haven’t eaten at Papa’s in years. So I went to my old fav spinach alfredo (extra sauce) with the new pan style, parm/Romano chz, tomatoes, onions, & half w/ sausage. One word…YUMMMYYYY!! It was melt in your mouth good. I like the side with the tomatoes w/o sausage more. But the whole pizza was great. The pan style gave a nice crispy crunch and edge to edge toppings. And it was $16.10 carryout. Well worth it.

Ordered a pizza for delivery with instructions to ring doorbell and hand pizza to me. DoorDash driver threw pizza onto my porch, took a picture, and left pizza without ringing the doorbell. Watched it all from my camera. Pizza was great. Service was lousy!

I usually don’t leave reviews but had to on this because it completely ruined my experience. One word, the food. Pizza is terrible. I ordered extra cheese only to get less than regular cheese, the crust is almost burnt/hard/thin, and the pizza is not cut into equal triangles. One slice was the size of two standard slices and several others were like miniature pizzas. I hate to say it but these are simiple fixes. I’ve been there twice in two weeks and both times the pizza was like this. It was unappetizing and makes me not want to go there anymore. I guess it will be Pizza Hut or Dominos from here on out for me.

This is an update to the original Review. I will not be coming back to this location we repeatedly had one issue after another and last night we ordered and today my boyfriend and I both have food poisoning. We are certain it came from here because neither of us ate anything else for the day.
Don’t eat here.
We continually have problems with this location. Every time I order carry out there’s mysteriously some issue they can’t find the ticket they can’t find the order one of the times I ended up having to double pay online and then again in store because they swore up and down it never came through which I’m not sure that could be true, and the pizza despite it being fresh just really was a sub par pizza from papa John’s it’s expensive to eat out and getting floppy pizza that looks like it came from the take and bake section at Walmart is an issue for me. If I wanted my pizza as thinly done from dough all the way through the sauce the cheese and the toppings I’d go buy a $3 pizza from Walmart. Currently a large stuffed crust is typically 18.99. The only redeeming quality is the employees. They are very polite and many of these issues are beyond their control despite many issues I do think if corporate changed some things this place would be back to 5*

Went in 3 months ago and the employee (heavy set female) was RUDE from the time i walked in. I felt i was bothering her and the way she talked to me. I left without ordering.
