Consistently horrible pizza. Do not bother using this location. Asked for extra pizza sauce on new pan pizza, got barely any at all. Pizza was way undercooked. Wasn’t ready when it was supposed to be, had to wait, with six employees standing around, in the off season at the beach. Barely any ingredients on the pizza as well. Do yourself a favor & use one of the OBX’s awesome locally owned pizza places.

Pizza was yummy, delivery guy (we picked up our pizza but ran into a delivery guy in the parking lot – red car) was very friendly and even quickly chatted with me as he loaded up his car. They are understaffed (an older guy let me know in a rude tone when I questioned not being able to reach the store via phone). I recommend a voice recording in lieu of just not answering the phone. Kind of frustrating to sit outside the store attempt to call in an order and you see an employee just standing behind the register… just not the type of service I’m accustomed to.

We ordered 17 pizzas for our New Year’s Eve celebration. They were hot and ready as promised when we arrived on time. The pies were a big hit. Frankly better than I expected from Papa John chain pizza.

I wish I knew the name of the people who made our pizza and the kind man who delivered it. This was THE BEST Papa John’s pizza we’ve ever had in 20 years! We ordered half cheese and half with 4 toppings. The pizza was not only cooked to perfection, but it was cut to where none of the evil toppings touched our 9 year old daughter’s precious cheese side. If this wasn’t great enough, the delivery person was so kind and mannerly to my daughter who got to get the pizza from the door. Usually I won’t let her because I’m a little overprotective, but I let her today and he was polite and thanked her. I saw he checked to ensure someone was there behind her too. I can’t thank this location enough.

This papa johns was definitely firing on all cylinders. It was really good and the ordering was super easy and they cooked up our order fast. Wish I had photos to post but pizza was gone so fast. They had good deal on five large 1 topping pizzas.
