Papa John’s Chicken BBQ Pizza is a delightful culinary journey, a fusion of flavors that marries the robust zest of barbecue sauce with the tender, juicy embrace of perfectly cooked chicken. Each slice is a symphony of taste, where the sweet and smoky undertones of the barbecue sauce playfully intertwine with the succulence of chicken, all cradled atop Papa John’s signature golden-brown crust. The toppings are generously scattered, ensuring every bite is as fulfilling as the last.
This pizza is more than just a meal; it’s an experience best enjoyed fresh. Therein lies the magic of opting for pickup. Imagine the warmth of the box in your hands, the aroma of barbecue and baked dough greeting you as you lift the lid, the cheese still bubbling in its prime. Picking up your pizza ensures that you savor this creation in its most pristine state, a state where the crust’s crispness and the toppings’ vibrancy are at their peak. It’s not just about convenience; it’s about capturing the moment when this culinary masterpiece is at its best.
Moreover, the act of picking up your pizza offers a brief, yet meaningful, escape from the daily routine. It’s a momentary venture out into the world, a tiny adventure culminating in the retrieval of a treasure that promises to delight your palate and satiate your hunger. In every sense, Papa John’s Chicken BBQ Pizza is more than just food; it’s a celebration of flavors best enjoyed in the freshest form possible.
EDIT: November 2025 the Papa John’s crew is still kicking it and making fire pizzas!

I called up there and spoke with the manager. I told him my name he said he couldn’t find me in the system. I gave him the order number and as soon as he looked it up without even asking me anything said to call DoorDash because it was more than likely their fault. DoorDash does not cut pizza nor do they slice banana peppers and put them on your pizza. He pretty much called me a liar. I asked him for corporate’s number he told me it does not exist. He said to look it up on Google. All I was looking for was an oncology and he absolutely treated me so disrespectful. The problem is the pizza is not cut whatsoever. It’s just one whole pie and it was supposed to have sliced banana peppers and instead they just put four large peppers on the entire pizza cannot believe I was totally disrespected by them. I will never order Papa John’s for as long as I live.

I ordered take out for two pizzas. While the bbq was correct and fully cooked, the vegetable pizza, that I ordered has raw dough throughout it. Both pizzas were also incorrectly cut, an acute and an obtuse triangle shouldn’t be parallel to each other.

Got pizza it was cold first off. Then I seen the peppers that I ask for & paid for were not there. Pizza wasn’t even that good. I called and told them the manager was very sorry and polite and offered a new free pizza when and if return ..
Just because u won’t see the people who are eating the food you send out the door, so it’s not mattering and yall are just not putting much effort into a tasty pizza. It seeming like this more often. I even tipped. I always tip!! Do better Papa Johns!! It looks better in the pic than it tasted. This was a 28$ pizza. The I added a 3:50 tip. Which then made it 31.98$

The expected time for your order being ready is never right. And when i say never right i mean you can come in 20 mins after it says your orders going to be ready and you still might have to wait 15+ minutes its absouletly terrible. And the workers are NEVER helpful or want to help you understand why ur order is 50 mins late. Hope this place shuts down ASAP disgusting. This is not door dash’s fault its incompetent workers and management. Even if you call in an order same case… and thats if ur even lucky enough that they pick up the phone. Its not always the workers being bad either it can also just be this terrible manager not hiring and only scheduling on person at a time.

It’s chain pizza, but we enjoyed plain and pepperoni pizza. Ordering on line was seamless, and order tracking via the app was excellent. Would order again from this location.

At 2 pm Saturday I ordered a pepperoni mushroom and extra cheese pizza. 3 hours later I received a cold pepperoni pizza. Was the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had since papa John’s pizza opened in Morgantown

They say they are open till 12. But if you order at 11 they cancel your order. That is more than enough time. 1* fir laziness. This is not how a business should run.

Every time I come here, I wait for minutes. There are 5 employees, and they’re all slowly chatting; nobody even pays attention to me.
