No surprise that a chain place like this would mess up an order. We sat around waiting for our order and checking the app. The app kept saying that our food would be delivered less than 1 minute. Turns out that the delivery driver had a flat tire and it would be another 30 minutes before we would get our food and that it would be cold. Instead of having some type of notification that our delivery would be late, we were just left in limbo.

This place is TERRIBLE!! DO NOT GO HERE!! Waited over an hour for my food. Ive worked in fast food my whole life and I understand things get busy but I stood there for almost 30 mins after I placed my order before someone acknowledged me. And then get mad with me because I just asked how much longer when they only said 15 mins. A bunch of bullshit.

The service was very good, on time and the delivery person was nice. The pizza however….was just awful! Papa John’s regular dough is a giant puff cake of refined carbs. Heavy with dough and light on toppers! No kidding, hardly any sauce, and the cheese and toppings were sparce. The undercarriage was undercooked and it just had zero Italian pizza pie authenticity…esp in the lack of taste. I think they’ve gotten worse over the years. It’s been about a decade since we had pizza from this chain pizza maker. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money at a better Mom and Pops place like Leone’s across the road in the crossings.

Good pizza, great deals! I used to love them, and couldn’t figure out why I stopped. Finally I ate a piece of the kid’s pizza from there, and realized I really didn’t like the pepperoni they use. Now I always order “cheese” only, with light sauce, bc they use way too much sauce. I recommend ordering online, bc they have better specials and I see people saying they got their order wrong, but I order online and they have NEVER gotten my order wrong, and I order from there a few times a week. Once I actually typed the order in wrong and they remade my pizza free. They gave my pizza to the wrong person once, and to make up for it they gave me a free drink. I always pick up, so I can’t speak on their delivery, but I’ve never gotten poor customer service here.

The pizza of papa John’s has dramatically fallen to an unacceptable level. They used to be my favorite pizza and have a good crust. Ever since papa John’s sold the brand, the pizza ingredients and dough have dropped in quality. The dough now tastes like frozen digornos pizza, the staff don’t really provide great service anymore, and the ingredients are just OK. My once favorite pizza chain has been dethroned, time to find something better. Unless you change your dough and how you process it, I won’t be coming back.
