Just ordered here for the first time wasn’t happy I actually love Papa Johns pizza normally. I was in the area and tried this particular one. My pizza was very dry couldn’t even taste the sauce plus I had to use a pizza cutter to recut every single slice when arriving home. I think after this experience I’ll try another one this one just won’t work for me seems like my food was made in a rush. To top the day pizza off they put me a pepper in the box that was starting to go bad. Definitely not a good decision to serve people stuff like this!!

Ordered an XL New York pepperoni pizza through the app. Only got a cheese pizza. Pizza was crunchy, ordered boneless wings and the wings look like chicken nuggets. And ordered bread sticks and they look horrible. I definitely will not be ordering from this place again. Came back from overseas and wanted pizza and I get bad service. Called the store and told them I didn’t get pepperoni and they said I only put cheese on it…why in the world would I order a XL Pepperoni pizza Special and only get cheese?? The box says pepperoni pizza but apparently you have to add pepperonis to the order but it’s a freaking pepperoni pizza why do I have to add pepperonis on a pizza that’s already named pepperoni?

This store has completely fallen apart over the last year. Just received my order and a pizza was not cut. I got a 2 L of Pepsi zero instead of a 20 ounce of regular Pepsi. I asked for three garlic and got three completely different dipping sauces. Last week I ordered three orders of Peppers and they literally gave me three peppers in a big box as if it was a joke.

Two delivery in row. First time driver forgot the 4 sauces and blame people the store people for not packing. Second time they bring the wrong sauce. And was told to wait for the sauce to get deliver again while the pizza get cold coming from a manager on the phone. Got the order at 1200 and got the sauce at 116pm. That’s with me going there to get it myself and the driver still have not come by.

I am a strictly papa girl, but this visit was horrible. Our Pizza was flat, way to much sauce, not enough cheese (esp. $ 4 extra) and it was burnt. I used my Papa rewards and felt like they decided because I was not paying the full $40 it did not need to meet the standard. I will say this is not our normal store. Tried to leave feedback with the corporate page for 3 days and it never would completely let the survey finish, guess they really did not want my review!

Took forever for delivery and the pizza of course was not fresh or hot. Didn’t know I needed to pay for extra cheese to get a normal amount and the sauce……smh. Never again!!!!

Orders an extra cheese pizza…the first one that arrived had such little cheese you could see the crust plain as day with no cheese even melted on it…the remake we received was JUST as BAD. If this is your extra cheese I’ll go somewhere else. Like Marco’s who actually puts on a decent amount of cheese.

Convenient location for those who live near Newport News Airport. I usually place my orders online and use the text message service in order to know when my order is ready for pickup. This location as all other Papa John’s locations, clean, has good customer service, and food quality is good. Papa John’s is usually my favorite pizza restaurant to order from.

Great customer service. Ordered 10 pizzas via the phone app. Upon arrival, only six were made. I reviewed my receipt and it only read 6 but somehow still managed to recognize the “buy 10 get 45% off” coupon (that’s because I ordered 10 just to get that discount).
Not sure if it was user error by me or a glitch in the app. Either way, the manager on duty Adriane – she took care of me right away and made the additional pizzas I intended to order, no questions asked and apologized for the inconvenience although it was clearly not her fault.
