My husband and I do enjoy Papa John’s pizza if we are going to order takeout pizza. Before we moved to Virginia Beach we ordered from PJ’s every Friday evening. I’d say the past several orders have been less than satisfactory. There have been very few toppings and this last pizza hardly had any cheese on it. This one also had very few toppings. They wanted to hear my feedback so I let them know and the general manager, Travis, reached out to me and said that they would call me two days ago, Ive yet to hear anything. Each time they’ve messed up they’ve offered me a credit for a new pizza. This time I would like my money back as we are no longer going to be ordering from Papa John’s. It’s too bad as the employees and delivery people have always been courteous.

I have ordered pick up here many times and always interact with a very kind and friendly man. I am fairly certain that he is the manager. He is always so happy and eager to serve. I think its important to recognize exceptional service and I will continue to come to this location. All the employees are very friendly as well as the store is always clean and in order. Jason is the absolute worst manager I’ve ever encountered. I worked for pizza companies for years, 2 of which being Papa John’s, and his behavior was completely unacceptable. We received an order that was placed online. Put “leave on porch please” in the instructions, along with no contact. The last time I put just no contact, the driver waited 10 minutes until I could get to the door. We are in the middle of a pandemic and no contact should mean no contact. However, regardless of this, common sense should prevail that when you bring an order and leave it, you should ring the doorbell if one is available. Not realizing my food was sitting outside, our pizza was covered in ants. We have a bench on the porch. It could easily have been set there. Even just leaving on the ground level of the porch, ring the bell. The “manager” decided to argue with both myself and my husband. He was reluctant to come up with any resolution and the one he had was 1.5 hrs to get a new pizza and it would cost an additional $4. Completely unacceptable. If you don’t have a good attitude and want to be rude to long time customers, you shouldn’t be working in customer service. I will NEVER order from this location again!

I have been going to this Papa John’s for the last six months and have always had a nice experience.
I have been reading over some of these reviews and it seems people don’t know how the star system works.
I read that the food and service was good but only give four stars. That literally makes no sense. It’s fast food pizza; it’s inexpensive and it’s fast.
My order has always been accurate.
If you had a bad order and they were willing to fix it, that’s a positive thing. We are all human and make mistakes. It’s not just about the error but the willingness to fix it That counts!
Everyone is always pleasant when I walk in.
I will continue to order here.

Ordered a heart shaped pizza and when i received it, the pizza looked a mess. the shape looks terrible and it looks like they just threw everything on top. theirs sauce all over the box , the crust is the thinnest crust i’ve ever had and on top of that it’s burnt in some spots. Worst experience at papa johns.

I called to report that my pizza was undercooked and was told “all our pizzas go through the same oven”. Well I guess they’re all under cooked!!!! 3 pizzas for $50 and they couldn’t cook it through, deliver it on time, or provide good service when I called. This is a picture of the pizza dough under the toppings. I bit into the pizza and it was same consistency of warm uncooked dough. That is not cheese!

May 3 2021 order online at7:30 and go pick up one large pizza and just looked weird to me how two slices don’t match with the crust and was a extra cheese pizza so I just kept going cause I was hungry and I didn’t want to wait anymore for another but here is the proof that they just recicle one left over pizza and added two slices and it shows when I finished and looked at the empty box that the cut marks don’t match with the slices. I don’t gonna come back to this store and I don’t recommend this store to anyone. So disapointed experience. I will definitely not sponsor this place anymore and expensive pizza as well to be treated like this. Just poor customer service and lazy employees BE AWARE

I placed my order at 10:10 pm. through the Papa Johns website. My card was charged at 10:24pm. At 11:30 i called to get an order status and was told it was pucked up by door dash to be delivered amd was on its way. I called back at 11:50 and was told they had it enroute to me as we spoke. At 12:10 am I was told no one picked it up and they weren’t delivering it. I was lied to twice.

We were literally looking for fast food since it was raining that day.Popeyes ,KFC ,Taco Bell ,and McDonald’s was packed on Indian River. We saw Papa John’s and ordered online.Less than 15 mins our food was done. It was quick and fresh.Thank you.

We do not ever get a pizza from this papajohns with old pizza. I been trying to understand wht my garlic knots were fresh and pizza looked like at sat for 10 mins and had over 16 peppers extra when I only order 4 extra. I guess that was for the old pizza. I will not be ordering from the at papajohns again.
