Ordered online for pick up and when I arrived all the employees ignored that I was standing there and even made eye contact. After wait for 10 minutes when I could see my order sitting there the entire time already paid for they finally came to help and when I ask for a couple of crushed peppers they wanted to charge me which was never a charge before. The food quality at this Papa John’s location is terrible. The store manager seems to make up his own rules. If you want a real Papa John’s pizza, try the one at 500 W Broad St—the manager there is genuinely nice and serves quality food to the community.

A worker at night started preparing food without gloves on. In addition, the same worker needed to call a manger who wasn’t on-site for a “password” to issue a refund. This place seems lazy. I left and went somewhere else.

Time to time I use too get my carry out at the Yorktown center next to CVS on gallows roads . But I will stop going out there there is an employee with very nasty actitude. I was going to place an order but he had another customer at front me I’M glad cuz I believe his name is Oracio Gomez claimed to be the manager so Oracio was pixelated off with a customer cuz customer didn’t want to pay. $ 40.00 some dollars for Two pizzas customer told him imposible and walked away with out. Then Oracio looked a me and said WHAT DO YOU WANT? I need to know how much cost medium supreme believed he said $17.00 and gave me ugly nasty loock. I JUST realized I didn’t have too take his rude attitude so I told him he didn’t have to talk to me. That kind of nasty way So I was regular customer BUT NOT ANY MORE AS LONG THIS NASTY JERK WORKS THERE ❗️I didn’t order period

I’ve worked in this area and have patronized this location for several years now and in the past it has had okay service and the food has been okay as well. Nothing stellar but decent.
Last night, as I came into town late so there are few food options available that late. I’m staying at the hotel next door so I drive into the Papa John’s location before I even go check in. Upon walk up there were 2 employees present then when entering the storefront one walked to the back. The other one standing at the counter was counting money and said nothing. The other came back to the front of the store and said, “You here for pickup”? I said, “No, Im here to place an order” to which he responded, “We’re not taking orders right now” and when I repeated what he said back to him. He said, “Yeah, we’re too busy”.
So I said okay and left. Upon leaving, I took a pic of the door with the GM info and phone number. So I called Horatio.
That’s when I understood the store and all the poor reviews.
When I told him about it he said, “I’ll talk to them about that”. I asked him, “Do you know why they would say that?” To which he replied, “I dont know know cuz I haven’t talked to them yet”.
I said, “I’m just confused and was wondering if it’s a standard practice?” He said, “You said it was 11:30?” I said, “yes”. I said, “Well, okay”. And when I said goodbye he finally said, “Sorry for your inconvenience” as he hung up. That’s it.
The time stamp from my photo of the door after I departed was 11:32pm. Since the conversation, I saw that they don’t recieve any orders past 11:40pm. That’s completely understandable so they can actually close by midnight.
I get it. You’re ready to go home. Maybe no one has walked in or called in several minutes. You’re ready to count your drawer and go home.
Papa John’s, just close earlier. Close at 11, close at 10pm like Five Guys next door, it’s fine.
I never even looked at Five Guys because they have posted hours but if you are supposed to be open and it’s someone’s last ditch to get something this kind of customer service and management doesn’t foster new or continued support of the location. I’m truly bummed.

You guys need to pay attention to order details and when we ask our pizza order should be well done it means you should burn the pizza. I ordered a 10 inch and it was all burnt and couldn’t even take a single bite of it. Just wasted the money at this franchise. I hope papa jones takes our concerns into consideration.
