Papa John’s had a 50% off deal on their pizza, so I decided to give them a try. I even conviced my wife (who hates Papa John’s) to eat it with me for dinner.
My wife went to the store to pick up the pizza and even though they notified us that the order was ready, the pizza of course wasn’t ready. My wife had to wait 10 mins for the pizza to finally be ready, so talk about trying to start off by putting someone in the dog house..but anyway…
We ordered “The Works” which is pretty much a supreme pizza. We also ordered the garlic parmesan wings and asked for “well done” on the wings.
My mistake was not asking for “well done” on the pizza, at least that’s what I assumed since the pizza didn’t feel like it was done all the way. I was highly disappointed in the taste as there was nothing really special about the toppings, nor flavor or anything memorable.
The wings were salty. I couldn’t really enjoy them because of all the salt on the meat. They were cooked perfectly “well done”, but someone had a heavy hand if you get my drift.
Overall, if I do go back which I probably won’t, I would ask for “well done” on my pizza. Actually, no, NO! I will not be back. I just thought about how much better tasting a tostinos pizza roll or Digiorno’s Pizza is compared to the pizza from Papa John’s. You’re better off eating frozen pizza than eating here at this location. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Just had the worst pizza delivered. One pizza had all the toppings on the center of the pizza for some reason and on the other, and I am not kidding, the pepper that comes WITH the pizza looks like it was eaten by someone already???? Can someone from HR please look into this

Been coming here multiple times (like 15 to 20)
My order changes slightly, but they’ve been remembering who I am since the third time!
Food: never had any problems and it’s great.
Service: they’ve always been friendly, communicative, and act promptly.
Atmosphere: it’s just a pizza shop. Not much to it.

This location has very bad pizza. I’ve had this from other locations and was good but this time ordered an XL philly steak pizza from this location in Bullrun Manassas and got what you see in the Picture. It looks awful and tastes worse than frozen cheap pizza. I don’t know how they are still in business.

I’ve never seen a pizza place before with a bunch of drivers illegally parking in the front of the store right in front of the door with at least 10 signs right there saying “No parking or standing in fire lane.” It’s dangerous as people walking on any side of your illegally parked vehicles cannot be seen by oncoming traffic or vice versa and creates a hazard. And of course that lane is for fire trucks and first responders, not for drivers who think they are above the law. Most pizza places have their drivers park behind the store which is the quickest way to deliver anyway and requires the least walking by drivers or they could park in the parking spaces in the front passed the fire lane. Your drivers doing that shows disrespect for the law and safety for all entering and exiting the building and a lack of control over them from management. Picture below. Parked right beside a sign that says “No standing or parking in fire lane” like the law does not apply to him. Fire lanes are not employee parking.

Not sure what this particular location’s ire is with Doordash deliveries but they went out of their way to make it inconvenient for us… We ordered a simple Medium pepperoni pizza. They send one person Doordash to pick it up and apparently it goes to the wrong person. I can forgive that. Mistakes happen. We were afforded the opportunity to reorder and so that’s what we did. What does this restaurant do? Rather than remake it and let someone else try again they just cancel it outright. Refuse to do it. I would try a third time but I think I know how it’ll work out. Guess we’ll just have to order Vocelli’s from here on out.

There’s never a real issue with the store sometimes the orders come a little bit messy which isn’t too much of a problem. As a former employee of the Broadlands Papa John’s just try and get the staff to use a little less sauce on the garlic knots and try and be a little bit more consistent and their serving.

How are you gonna make someone pay that much, wait OVER an hour for their pizza(which was said to take 30-40 minutes, but just the tracking section where it said “preparing” took more than that), then deliver it so cold I have to warm it up in the oven? Maybe y’all are busy right now, I’m not sure. Regardless, that was kinda ridiculous. Not so much as a notification that it would be late or an update to the estimated time, then(as I said) it shows up FREEZING COLD. I’m sorry. I’m just hangry, and waiting for my pizza to warm up.
