I’ve never had Papa John’s in my life before today. Now I understand why. I should’ve known better than to even order being that it was inside of a damn gas station. But, my curiosity got the best of me. Especially since I’ve never tried it. I used the app to order which was convenient. And it was done on time. Beyond that, this was the biggest joke of a pizza I’ve ever tried. I’d rather eat a microwaved lunchable. It was soggy, floppy, way undercooked and absolutely tasteless. And I asked for it well done. This pizza was about as crispy as a wet noodle. Do yourself a favor and pour some Campbells tomato soup on top of a piece of white bread, add some mozzarella and microwave it for a minute. You’ll save yourself the time, money and aggravation of coming to Papa John’s. At least this location. What a joke. Also, don’t judge the pizza by the picture. At first glance it doesn’t look “bad”. Listen to what I’m telling you and order from somewhere else.

Its a papa John’s in the worst imaginable gas station. People on doordash who havent been inside this Shell DO NOT know who theyre ordering from.
WARNING, DO NOT ORDER IN THE MORNING OR BEFORE NOON! The woman making your food does not wear gloves and has been seen on multiple occasions making pizza and handling products and cash at the register without washing her hands.

If you do plan on ordering pizza, make sure to always get it well done! Theyre ovens are not hot enough for the baking process, leaving the pizza flimsy, and doughy. Do not walk in order either, use the app, its cheaper and they can update the app manually from the store telling you when its done. That is, if they actually used it. Always give them an extra 10 min. They are always understaffed and take forever with people food.

Between the Dominos store on Rt 6 and Papa John’s at the end of Main street, you can find better quality pizza in Honesdale. The fact of the matter is that pizza in general from all major pizza chains went down hill years ago. They have the same suppliers and followed the same corporate cost cutting. The dough and subsequent crust are the same, the cheese which melts the same and texture being its fake cheese that produces the same burn marks is identical. They all have become gas station quality pizza ( ironically this store is part of a gas station) and the Rt6 Highhouse gas station/Convenience store and deli makes a better pizza. It just sucks because some of us have memories of when Papa John’s was above the rest.

Two pizzas and wings for $20. Sometimes financially it makes sense. Still better than Dominos. Boneless Wings are gross. So it would have been $13 for two pizzas, reminds me of when Little Ceasers was here.

I ordered three pizzas and 2 orders of wings they made me wait 3 hours on a Friday at 6 pm. I finally got the pizza and wings at 855 and everything was wrong with them. The wings were terrible undercooked and I wanted boneless and they gave me bone in. The pizzas were all messed up missing toppings. And they were not edible. I demanded a discount and they refused and made me pay full price. The service is awful the guy that works there doesn’t even know how to count change and shorts ya everytime, and makes rude comments. This place is a joke and should be shut down. Would definitely not recommend getting pizza here.i heard stories of People have gotten sick what a mess.

It’s Papa John’s. It tastes the same every where. Is there better local? Yes. But sometimes you want consistency. Sometimes you want 2 pizzas and wings for 20 bucks. Don’t listen to haters. It’s mechanized mass produced perfection. That’s why it’s a national chain and your local favorite isn’t.
