never had issues before… waited extra 30 minutes after they said 5 minutes and forgot to make a pizza. Guy making the pizzas never washed his hands after touching money. no apology… waited for the pizzas over an hour.

I haven’t been here in years, but we always swore that this Papa John’s tasted better than any other we had been to. There’s something about it that’s different. We went here for years when visiting my grandma – it was our favorite place. There’s a window on the side of the building that allows you to go outside and look in and watch them make the whole pizza every step of the way, which is pretty much the coolest thing ever as a kid, and honestly, even as an adult lol.
One time, when my brother was very young, he was playing with a toy truck at the window sill outside the restaurant as we were watching the pizza making process.
The manager/owner/maybe just an employee waved to us and smiled at us and engaged with us through the window. When we got home and ate our delicious pizza we realized my brother had left his truck on the window sill. The next day we went back to check if it was still there and the same pizza guy had it sitting on the counter waiting for us. The fact that he noticed it, went outside and retrieved it, and remembered us and had it waiting for us, was all so sweet, and above and beyond, and shows you what kind of a place this joint is.

The cheese pizza with half anchovy is mad dope! The taste is like nothing I’ve tasted. It’s the best pizza there is. It tasted a bit like meat, the anchovy. The staff is polite and pleasant.

Their food is quite good, especially the I Spinach Alfredo pizza. I loved it. I don’t like their delivery service, though. It’s very poor. Abysmal is the word. Half of the pizza experience comes from delivery. Needless to say, the pizza was delivered cold. Hope they work on it and improve it. 🙁

I went in to order and pickup in person. I was horrified with the level of hygiene! Employees go out for a smoke, handle cash, touch their hair and face, and then handle food without washing their hands first. Absolutely disgusting and I’m sure this is health code violation! The company needs to do a much better job training their employees and making sure they follow the protocols!

The pizza is great!
Customer service is bad and inconsistent. “Yes we can deliver. No we can’t. That coupon is good for a delivery. No that coupon is only good for pickup.”

Quickest pizza around. I love the digital tracking function. Tasted great hot right out of the oven. Staff was laser focused, which I love.
