Depends who is proofing the dough here. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes bad. If you do not know, dough has a window to which it can be left out at room temperature. I find I get better quality pizza here between 1-5 pm. I think they over estimate how busy they will be on the evenings. Overall this location is solid.

My first time ordering was a mess, but i called next day to speak with someone about it. I spoke to a gentleman names Charles. Charles went both-above and beyond to make it up to us! He definitely made sure to make sure the store and food met our expectations! Need more people like Charles in this world. His customer service skills were on point, he had a great, “approachable”/HELPFUL attitude/disposition. I honestly have ordered from there 3x since, and to be really real… if it wasnt for Charles, i would have never gone back. Papa Johns Is lucky to have such a dope person on their staff. He deserves a promotion and to be recognized for his amazing performance, leadership and overall character!!! Ty so much Charles!!! We appreciate you!!!! Happy New year!!!

Three hours wasted for a pizza that never arrived. Lied to multiple times that “the driver just left,” then told it was handed to someone which never happened. No accountability, no communication, no basic customer service skills. This place is a mess. Do not order from here unless you enjoy being ignored and lied to. Don’t go here!! Total joke of an operation. Ordered a pizza, never got a response, 40 minutes later called back to say that there was no order on record. The “computer system” couldn’t locate the address even though we were at a major hotel less than 1 mile away. The person who took the call was clueless. 8 years in customer service and still surprised every day. They also don’t have their own delivery drivers so it all has to go through door dash even if you order over the phone with them. Please for the love of save the time and headache and just order dominos.

Had to buy a large to get thin crust. Asked for it to be crisp, it wasnt. Tasteless crust. So disappointing as i used to order from Papa Johns in Holyoke and it was the best pizza ever. NOT so much at this location on University Drive, Amherst. horrible
no flavor, not crispy, minimal portion of toppings. We did pepperoni, mushroom and onion, and we bought a large.
also when i walked in the counter person (must have been cook as well as only one in the place) was wiping his nose with his hand. I almost turned right around then. I didnt but i should have said something. Beyond G R O S S Cheese wasnt even gooey, and i wasnt sure what i was eating. We threw it out, couldnt even eat it. There is $21.00 i won’t get back.
