We’ve been living here in Cape Coral for a few years now, finally decided to visit Papa Joes. It was a very good initial experience. We sat outside, Jackie was our waitress. We ordered the Home made Sangria which came out with a large cup of ice which was needed to keep it cold, as we sipped away at it! It was very good.
We ordered the Calamari as we always feel you can judge a restaurant by the Calamari appetizer! Calamari was very good! Lightly breaded and not tough! Then, Jackie brought us out some bread, which was a real jackpot! Oh, my, goodness… fresh bread smothered with garlic butter and topped with parmesan!
Then for the main course we had a deluxe pizza, small, with sausage meatballs & onions and half mushroom, it was delicious!
All in all no complaints, we are looking forward to going back again!

A truly Italian restaurant with fantastic Italian food. They don’t take reservations so be ready for lines. The local Italians love the joint and everyone knows everyone. The food was excellent Italian dishes came out steaming and delicious. If you love genuine Italian food this is the place. Prices are reasonable, portions huge. Terry our waitress handled a table of 10 expertly. Highly recommend!!

Teri ldid a great job explaining the menu. We had a white sauce pizza with shrimp and mushrooms. Even the crust was delicious. We split a half salad and still took home 3 pieces.

This is my second review, but easily the 1,000th time I’ve been here—and not once have I been disappointed. Papa Joe’s is more than just a restaurant, it’s a second home filled with warmth, flavor, and consistency that’s hard to find these days.
The food? Out of this world. Every bite of pizza tastes like it was crafted by someone who genuinely loves what they do. The pasta? Homemade perfection. You can taste the passion in every dish.
The service? Always welcoming, always friendly. They remember you, they care, and they treat you like family.
This place is a Cape Coral treasure. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out. And if you have—well, I’ll probably see you there again soon, because once you come, you always come back.

We have finally gotten a table at Papa Joe’s and it was worth the wait. Jackie was our waitress and she is the best. I told her it felt like we went to her house for dinner, she made us feel like family. We had the pizza and pastas, but the bread sticks alone were something to come back for. The place is small. The parking is limited. But if you haven’t tried Joe’s, it is a must eat for Cape Coral.

Nicest workers providing the best food. This has been a staple in my visits to Cape Coral for over ten years. They’re complimentary bread is incredible, but do your best not to ruin your appetite with it. Wait for the Brooklyn style pizza and enjoy. You can’t go wrong with it and it is very fairly priced. The house salad is one of my favorites and also a great value. I’ve dabled in their subs and some of their other dishes, which are all great, but keep coming back for the amazing pizza.
The service is also some of the best, always nice and kind, easy to accommodate kids, as well.

We had a few dishes and enjoyed everything! All meals were 5 stars hands down. The pizza, calzone and chicken parmesan with spaghetti was delicious. Oh, and the appetizers mozzarella sticks and artichokes. Yes, we can eat! We will definitely be going back. Not to mention the service was as good as the food.

The “White Pizza” here is delicious. The garlic bread on the other hand was just alright. Taste more like regular bread with no garlic flavor at all or oil.
I tried them out for the first time and while the pizza was tasty it isn’t the best I’ve ever had.
The parking lot is very small and can get tricky to get out at times.

We wanted to grab a pizza to go spontaneously. Because my husband has celiac disease, it had to be gluten-free. We were welcomed and served very kindly, and after about 10 minutes our pizza was ready. It was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed it very much. We could choose between a gluten-free pizza base and a cauliflower pizza base, and we chose the gluten-free one. Very tasty and crispy! Highly recommended!
