Papa Joe was raised on the mountainside of Palermo, Italy. As a child, Joe and his mother would walk their tiny town daily, collecting ingredients from local farms for the family’s supper table. He learned from Mommy a passion for hard work and love for great food. Joe’s other love, Momma Donna, grew up in South Florida. She appreciates the value of locally grown produce and fresh ingredients. Together, Joe & Donna have developed an amazing menu where Italian heirloom meets southern hospitality. OMG!! i absolutely love this place, my mom hadn’t been here in 10 years and wonders why we don’t go every week. between the AMAZING food and great service this was a 10/10. Our server Gabrielle was absolutely awesome not only was her hair absolutely adorable but she was so sweet, very accommodating and was helpful with giving us suggestions. the place was decorated very cute and we really enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back and recommend it!!

My family and I have been coming to Papa Joe’s for over 30 years. They have constantly great food and atmosphere. When the children were little, Joe would give them a lump of pizza dough to keep them entertained. It worked so well!

After many years, I have not had the ability to go in and have dinner. Last night my friends came in from Georgia and we took them in for a birthday dinner. I was disappointed in the quality of some of the food it’s not like it used to be the calamari, the sauce had nothing but fish flavor and it was rubbery. The pecan chicken was extremely dry in the pasta that my nephew had with the potato with the peppers. It was kind of disappointing. The third pizza that we’ve done on takeout now in the last three months. All of the ingredients have been in the middle and not even covering the pizza. I absolutely love this place and I was disappointed last night. The black olives in the mushrooms were all on one pile. There was nothing on the right side of the pizza and this is happened three times in a row now with the pizzas.

This was our first time visiting Papa Joe’s Italian Restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was great from the moment we entered, until we left. The restaurant provides a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. Every dish we ordered was presented well and so delicious. We tried the Caprese plate, chicken Ciabatta, sausage sandwich and finished off with the best cannoli I’ve had in Florida. I took 2 cannolis to go for my parents. My mother grew up with Italians in NYC, and she wanted to know where I got the cannoli because she had to visit this restaurant. It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s definitely worth the drive to eat at Papa Joe’s.
