We’ve been loyal customers of Papa Gyros for years, but tonight’s dinner was the final straw. Unfortunately, the food quality has steadily declined over the past few years, and this visit confirmed it.
The meat has consistently been dry, and the portions no longer justify the price. Because of past experiences, I avoided ordering a Cajun gyro and instead made the mistake of ordering the Fettuccine Mykonos. That turned out to be even worse. It had virtually no flavor other than an overwhelmingly fishy taste from the shrimp, which I paid extra for. For a $17 pasta dish, I expected a reasonable portion, but what arrived was shockingly small—almost comical.
My daughter’s Cajun gyro had burnt, overcooked meat, though at least her portion was generous compared to my husband’s, which had very little meat. The only redeeming item from the entire meal was the onion rings.
We used to genuinely love this place, but after wasting our money tonight, we won’t be returning.

We came in last night around 7:45 we were seated in a booth , with as many people as we had it was fine . But the server we had was horrible ! She acted like she didn’t know how to do a server job to get refills was hard because it seemed like she didn’t want to give us any. She gave my husband attitude when she messed up his order he ordered a platter and she just gave him a sandwich. So when we told her she got upset , and gave him attitude then came back with an attitude and asked how he wanted the pita. Acted like it was his fault that she got it wrong! Then when ever someone looked her way she came over and said “what do you need.” We usually have great experiences here and last night was far from the normal . I’m not sure if management has changed or what but that server was horrible!! Didn’t get her name but could describe her.

They have a huge menu selection. From the traditional Greek gyro, stuffed grape leaves, to flaming saganaki! It is tasty and delicious. The staff is outstanding! Cheerfully waiting on customers explaining the menus to the alcohol selections. Just look at the flaming saganaki photo I posted! She was having a blast and so was my family.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. The gyro platter was excellent with a large portion of meat, rice and soft pita served with tzatziki sauce. The salad was fresh and complimented the meal. Service was prompt and courteous and the atmosphere was low lit, clean and comfortable.

Love this place. Staff is attentive and friendly. Lunch is always served quickly and drinks are kept filled. Their soup and salad lunch deal is amazing for $9.85! Love the option of adding gyro meat to the grecian salad for only a $1 extra. The house salad dressing is to die for!

I love coming here! I am in almost every week and always get excellent service and food. I usually come in on my lunch break and I’ve never had a bad experience. Kathryn is one of my favorite servers; she always greets me with a smile, asks me how work is going and knows exactly what I want. She is very attentive and always makes sure I am satisfied!

Food was good but my server was awful. My server Katie was extremely rude, constantly on her phone either on a call or texting someone. She never stopped by my table unless I asked her. Always complaining, and sat me at a dirty table. I hope to never see her at that restaurant again.
