My first time at Papa Ginos and I had the time of my life. Shannon was absolutely amazing, she made my night completely!! Ive never left a review anywhere but I had to today. Give her a raise immediately!!! and Emily the chef made the best pizza me and my friend have ever had. Please reward them both someway somehow because they deserve the best of the best! (Just in case anyone was wondering we got a large cheese pizza with grilled chicken, onions, green peppers, and broccoli with a side of blue cheese absolutely delicious)

Shannon was so excellent. Literally, she’s the only reason I’m willing to write this post; My boyfriend and I were out on his birthday and decided to stop by the Pap Gino’s nearby and get his free small cheese.. but even though it could prove on the app that it was his birthday and his reward was the pizza, no coupon appeared (I later found out from another Papa Gino’s that was a common problem with the birthday rewards that month) and long story short.. Shannon made it happen without problem and actually ended up being a pleasure to meet. Josh, her superior, had to be persuaded by Shannon to even hear me out to help and figure out a solution.
I must note, managing in my past, I think that Shanon is more capable and better with the public than Josh and was shocked to see that she wasn’t the shift leader or whatever.
But, seriously, thanks to Shannon! I had felt like an idiot because I’m going in for my boyfriends free pizza and have a glitch with the app and Josh kinda just made me feel like a problem or like someone trying to get something over on him (which I shouldn’t at all) and Shannon still tried her best to make it feel like the happy birthday reward for my boyfriend’s birthday I actually walked in there for.
Oh, mind you. Josh’s aggravated mood with me was extra rude to me since the place was absolutely dead, no phone calls coming in and an empty dining room. And then, I go to another Papa Gino’s in Taunton a few days later and happen to talk with a worker who had said that the birthday coupon was having an issue with everyone for some reason and was super great about it (she even had someone come in while I was there with tha exact issue and she resolved it without problem). So, I guess, the longer I think about it.. Josh really pissed me off. He didn’t have any people skills. It’s not even about the pizza, he was just a crappy guy to come across throughout your day.. especially a day I was trying to enjoy.

I go to this Papa Gino’s 1-2/ month for a business lunch I order on
Line for 10-15 people. Every time my order is ready ( with nothing missing!) always hot, prepared correctly & the service, especially of Kristina & Tiana has always been consistent & very pleasant. Really impressed!!

I ordered a special that was a large cheese pizza and chicken tenders and I also ordered a steak and cheese sub. My papa Gino’s experience this time was not great at all. It all started when I first ordered online because I recently received a text message a few days prior for 25% online order which would expire the next day so I decided to use it before it expired. Well the code that was in the text did not work but I decided to go ahead with the order anyway seeing as I just spent my time doing it online. My order was than was not only not ready at time it stated it would be it was oddly not hot. That was confusing to me. I also did not wait until I got home because I was so hungry I ate in the car as I drove home. I do only live 3 , 4 mins tops away. The steak and cheese was for my fiance he made a face when he took a bite and because this was his first time trying a sub at papa Gino’s and the fact that I urged him to get it because they are usually so good I myself had to try his sub. The face he made was not a pleasant one and after my bite I understood why. Even tho it was grossly submerged in mayo because obviously the worker did not know how to put a decent amount of Mayonnaise on a sub without overdoing it Surprisingly, it was as dry as something nasty and dry could be. I also added tomatoes and lettuce to the sub when I ordered it online. Both of which were not on the sub when we opened it. The customer service was horrible I had to holler for attention and than was spoken to only when told the total. All in all papa Gino’s is my all time favorite pizza yet I will never order at this location even if it is the closest one to my house. A scenic drive is more worth my hard earned pay.

From the mkt in Boston in the early 70s to the cape.dartmouth and new beige.that are closed.i have been to more then my share ..the last 2 enjoyed eating in waiting for movies or quick meals..always the same so you can count on it which ever store you pick.I have never had a problem with employees which is rare..at least for me..it always seems where ever you go..fast food service people 1 out of 10 hate there jobs..why I rated atmosphere low ..is a me problem I remember you could play music..and I am pretty sure all the machine are gone ..also I don’t eat in enough to format a good opinion..stay safe and healthy ..stay the way you are

I love the great customer service and food from this location!!! Tonight I received exceptional service from Shannon who went above and beyond…!! Since I had an issue with my debit card and their system would not allow me to make a secondary payment with cash (only with another card) Shannon used her own debit card and then I gave her the cash balance due!!! That was so nice and I was so grateful!!!! I did let the manager working know as well and hope Shannon will be recognized for her superior service!!!! Thank you again Shannon!!!!!
