We came in here for lunch. We’ve driven by here many times going to and from Costco. We were looking for an Italian beef sandwich and discovered that they have it here! Lots of peppers, nice crunch to the toasted bread, and it comes with a small cup of au jus. Also got the Nick’s Viva Chicken Panini. That was very good too.
Fries were good but a little too much salt on mine. Friendly service and a good spot for a quick lunch.

We ordered p/u at 1045, grabbed it at 11 am. After a pleasant quick chat with Papa Duke re: the odd multiple orders of breakfast cheese pizzas and hoagies , he handed me my order. We took it home for a backyard brunch with the tot. First time and won’t be the last. All three sandos were delicious and fresh. The chicken pesto portifino was fresh and the pesto was on point (like, very good pesto / bread ratio). The breakfast egg / bacon / cheese was simple but buttery and tasty. Lastly, Nicks Viva Chicken is their popular one for a reason. Great saucy-ness (zingy but not spicy, tangy but not overpowering amount of sauce) on the fresh pressed sando. Overall and wonderful sandwich brunch meal and very pleasantly run. Go check it out.

Huge portion sizes. The Chicago Style Italian Beef was delicious. Definitely consider adding Papa Dukes to your regular lunch rotation!!

My dad and I are always looking for a good French dip and I found one while having lunch with friends at Papa Duke’s in Poway. Large sandwich, good bread and tons of good roast beef that was lean and not any grissle. I asked for horseradish and additional au jus. Staff is very pleasant. Parking is limited at lunchtime.

It was a refreshing margarita pizza its not greasy its light and the crust is amazing, basil was fresh and a nice touch. The sandwiches where very good, super wide selection. But the highlight of our evening was the owner he was very friendly and super patient with us, answered all of our questions. You can tell he loves what he does and his passion shines through. Will definitely be back and with more company!

Wow, the food and service was excellent! I ate there twice. We had the Cobb salad and a ham & cheese sandwich. So full of wonderful ingredients. You can tell Ron and the staff take time in preparing each order and care about providing a good product to each customer. Very hard working people. Thank you.
The second time we had the 12” pizza which was enough for 2 people. The crust was good, New York style, sautéed onions, & mushrooms, kalamata olives, with pepperoni & Italian sausage. Yummy! They even have great Italian desserts. Not overly sweet so it’s a nice compliment to any meal.

First time coming here, just picked this place for lunch on a chance since it was nearby a place I’m doing some service. Extremely happy I found them. One sandwich and I’m hooked. Great selection of sandwiches with quality breads, not just run of the mill dry hoagie buns. The sandwich I was eating was so good I had to stop half way through to take a picture, this was the hot sandwich Chicago Italian Beef Sub. Definitely recommend!
