Arrived there at around 6p. It was full were sitted rather promptly in a two chair table with absolutely no elbow space. And very close to the table next to us. Service was excellent. The pear and gorganzola pizza was amazing. The pork ozobucco in the other hand was very disappointing. Yes the meat was tender but the combination with the noodles and can tomatoes was very tasteless. And we also order the jumbo shrimp scampi. The shrimps were over cook and the sauce was very sour you can tell that they didn’t let the white wine simmer and tartness gave it that sour flavor. It was our first time there definitely our last.

It was easy to place an order. All it took was making a call to the establishment. They took my name and order then proceeded to give me a time for when the food would be ready. 20 minutes for a small pepperoni pizza and they did not go over that time. Their service is quick and the establishment is very clean. I heard about this place from a relative that absolutely loved it. They spoke wonders about how amazing the pizza was. Naturally I developed high expectations. Unfortunately, I didn’t love it. There was too much sauce and not enough cheese or pepperoni for my taste, or flavor for that matter. On the plus side, it’s not as greasy as some other places. Maybe it was an off day but I think it’s worth giving another shot someday.

We had good experience eating here at this cozy pizza parlor- I would say it’s great for families. We have 3 kids and stopped for dinner on a road trip. There are many options on the menu. I had the mushroom ravioli with meat sauce which was good, but we all really enjoyed the pizza (Dan’s Specialty)! Some other things we noticed and liked
– Servers and staff were really nice
– There was outdoor seating available and didn’t have to wait long for a table
– They warm/lightly toast the bread and serve with fresh crushed garlic (we love garlic!) and of course butter

We decided to split lasagna and had very garlicky oil based dip for our bread. That was good! We tried goat cheese/artichoke appetizer and it was rather good. It could have more texture rather than finely blended. Meatballs was a good filler after we split. This was a busy place so good business!

Papa Dan’s Pizza and pasta is the very best in the desert. We had the beef lasagna and salad! The food was fantastic and I highly recommend coming here!! Please ask for Gus! He will go above and beyond making sure that you are well taken care of!! Come and see for yourself! Thank you kindly!

Yummy pizza, super quick delivery and friendly service. We got a discount for staying at the Marriott and ordering delivery to the place we were staying. We got mozzarella sticks and pizza. We liked the sauce and the crust. I would def order again next time I am in town!

It took 2 hours to get our pizza delivered. And when we called the after the first hour we were told the driver was on his way. When we called the following hour, the person who answered tried to tell me whoever told us this info was not supposed to have done that and demanded I provide them the name of this person. This person was so rude and in the end I told him it’s their problem and the fact our pizza has been paid for and it’s still not been delivered for our hungry kids for 2 hours is unacceptable. Clearly this establishment doesn’t care about their customers. I do not recommend this business just for how they treat their customers and the very poor service they showed us.

This is one of our favorite pizza places when we are staying for 2 weeks at the Westin Rancho Mirage every March. Nice Italian Cuisine & atmosphere. Tables are close. Outdoor seating available. Nice starter of warm bread, fresh garlic & olive oil. We had the thin crust Sausage, Onion & Pepper with was perfect. Friendly service.
