Wife and I are writing this still in the booth. Not enough stars. Best pizza we’ve ever had. Owner is a super sweet guy too. We ordered ahead like the website said and it was totally smooth. The Adolph Coors pizza is a 20/10 by the way.

Great pizza place and well worth the price! We really love the crust and flavors they offer. Only “complaint” comes when we’re slow to call in an order and have to wait to head in to pick it up. Which is always on us to remember to get our order in earlier! Great pizza and service and how busy they are is a testament to the quality!

The pizza is very good, but not the best I ever had . My wife flat out didn’t like it (she has particular pizza taste), yet my kids adored it so… go figure.
25$ a pizza. I go two and thought well “ gotta give it a try at least once (52$ later). I got a pepperoni and a cheese. It was take out and I read their website which rightfully so annotated the food would cost more than usual pizza, no actual service provided, and supplies are limited.
As a well traveled person and a lover of pizza I feel either these pizzas need to be 15% larger or 15% cheaper to be worth it. The price is the real tough sell. The ordering and limited product/availability was not that big of a deal. The environment and setting was fine. Kind of a come in and dine and your own accord.
One gripe I’ll bring up is the tipping. Guy rings me up and slides that credit card receipt over thinking my 52$ two pizza order may arrive with a tip of 5 to 10$ more for bringing my take out order pizza boxes from the back to me at the front.
Lol… the audacity with tipping today is insane. It’s like already they are charging the highest price for pizza ever then no shame on that tip suggestion.
If this place was full service and had all the fixings I think I could go for it again but the barebones theme with NYC prices was less than appreciated. I’m thinking Walter’s on Northgate as competition.
The pizza was good though, the people were nice, and the location very pleasant and ascetically pleasing so I want to be fair with that. Two pizzas the same size at Pizza Hut or Domino’s would run you 25$ total but… you get cancer from eating that kind of pizza. So I can appreciate the organic ingredients of Papa Bear.

Best pizza I ever had. The owners are amazingly nice as well. Everyone complains about the wait time but it’s worth the wait. I’ve never had any issues as they put a disclaimer in the menu to call ahead.

Still one of the best pizza places around and some of the best people who own it. Added added an the pictures I’ve taken over the last couple years of eating here. They pizza’s always look like works of art. Almost a shame to eat them.

I’ve now been coming here for about 5 years. Still amazing pizza and the best I’ve had. They have maintained their amazing quality throughout the whole time I’ve been coming g here. On top of the amazing pizza you get to eat the owner’s are part of the experience. They are truly some od the best people I’ve met. They always greet you with a friendly smile and just make getting pizza a wonderful experience.

My fiancé has been telling me for almost two solid years how much he loves this place and how amazing it is. Finally for date night we made plans to go and I am so in love with the pizza, the service and the feel of Papa Bear Pizza. If you’re looking for great pizza this is the place! We talked to Nicholas tonight about how amazing the experience was and we really wanted to make sure we shouted them out. Their pizza is the best pizza you’ll ever have. Thank you guys so much!

Very unique pizza with a crunch. High quality everything. Owners are super friendly… gave me a free Coke while I waited. Pizza was done EXACTLY at the time they promised. Definitely 5 stars and I’ll be back for sure when I want something totally different from anyone else.

I thought it was cool how one owner came out noticed it and said, “My kind of guy!” … The other owner told me that they’ve thought about getting their own bags for customers to purchase because they’re so obsessed with quality. “My kind of pizza place.” — they should definitely do that, especially since I can see people driving 45 minutes to get this… (I would) — much better when you get it home still nice and restaurant hot.
By the way, there’s much more room inside than I expected from the reviews. Very nice… They’re in the location where the wine bar used to be.

This is the best pizza I have ever had. They even sell out which I’ve never heard of. I’ve had pizza my entire life like everyone else and this brought it to another level. The chef has experience in Michelin star restaurants and fine dining and has worked under some major Michelin star chefs. I taste it in the food and the love and passion it’s made from. Very friendly welcoming small family business in downtown monument. We won’t go anywhere else now that we’ve had this pizza. Do yourself a favor and try them out. Also organic ingredients and all products shipped from different countries and homemade hot honey. Thank you for taking the time to make our experience great! We’ll be back

This place is genuinely one of a kind. Had the San Juan pizza (one which was only around for the week) and the Baby Doe (or dough?) And lost my mind. Within my top 5 favorite pizzas of all time and the facility/concept itself is hands down one of my favorites to ever experience. The crust is crisp but not hard to chew, ingredients can be tasted individually in every bite, and the flavor is there 100%. I’ll drive 45 minutes for a pie here sometimes! Oh and the dessert pizza is just ridiculous. Ate a whole one myself once, worth every calorie! My only request is that they put one in my home town so when I travel home I can still have it haha. For now, I’ll settle for buying it and driving with it.

Update: 4/18/2024 This place is a real Gem! Unbelievably fresh and no compromises, processed chemicals or corner cutting. Chef starts his sourdough prep 4:30am and sources top shelf ingredients from around the world! Get your order in early before they sell out!

Haven eaten pizza in most major cities known for pizza. I would rate the pizza we had tonight is one of the top 5 lifetime. The crust is a crispy tavern style, the quality of the crust in and by itself is good enough to eat on its own. The sauce is wonderful.
