Pizza wasn’t anything special in my opinion. I ordered a pepperoni, Italian sausage and jalapenos large pizza and garlic knots for pick-up. Garlic knots were similar to the frozen ones you would get in a grocery store, and for new york style pizza Dado’s in OKC blows the place out of the water.

We got Joe’s White Pizza and a supreme. We both liked our pizzas. the white pizza was absolutely fantastic though and different from regular pizzas. Any pizza can be made from their standard cheese pizza, toppings just cost extra.

I had heard by people that seem to know about food, that this was the place for pizza in Bethany. When we first walked in it was pretty early and the dine in was not busy at all, but the phones were ringing constantly. That made me think my peeps were right about this place. That all changes once the food came out. First off we got some meatballs. These are just balls of meat with no seasoning and are super dense. The sauce was decent, but didn’t really stand out. Then the pizza came. We had half Pepperoni and Supreme. Not sure why they just used canned mushrooms for this, but they looked and tasted horrible. The cheese is thick and lacked flavor. The crust was the only good part of this pizza. The only reason this isn’t a worse review, the young man who was working the phones and taking dine in orders was a very pleasant and helpful person. He also brought out our food and checked on us later on. Didn’t get his name, but he deserved all the credit for at least a nice experience. This place is pricey for a hole in the wall local pizza joint that uses canned veggies on their supreme pizza. Maybe it was a bad night, but it was not great at all.

Placed an online oreder tonight and was told it would be ready for pick up at 715pm. Sent my kid in to get it and it wasn’t ready yet. So he waited…and waited…and waited some more. Finally the pizza and garlic knots were ready. Luckily he checked the bag before leaving and noticed our ranch wasn’t there. He went back in and told the guy and he gave him the ranch. Fast forward when he came home(745pm), we live 4 miles from the place and the pizza was ice cold. The garlic knots are burnt. I get it, you’re busy on a Friday night, but have orders ready that were already paid online ready when you say it is going to be ready. The people who come in after said order can wait like the rest. This is the 2nd time that we had their pizza, probably will be the last. Next time I’ll save myself the trouble and order a Casey’s pizza.

We got a new Yorker half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. When we first walked in it reminded me of NY pizza joints’ aromas. The sauce and cheese were really good. When I folded the pizza to take a bite it held up and didn’t flop when I bit into it…almost burned the roof of my mouth but I recovered quickly. My main complaint was the crust…I think it was too dense. Maybe not tossed ‍♀️ that was the main reason for 3 stars. Did make me wanna visit NY though

I love this place. Genuinely one of the best places to get pizza in the state not to mention the kindest staff I have dealt with! Every time I come in they greet me like a friend. I stay in way north of the restaurant and I will drive down just to eat. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I thought the 20 inch would be bigger than it was but the pizza was very good. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in years. The service was nice as well, I didn’t mind waiting longer because they ran out of a topping that I ordered over the phone.

My favorite Pizza in OKC (located in Bethany)! We dropped by and ordered a couple pizzas on Sunday. They were so good, we went back on Monday! Thanks Joe (owner) and Dianna (sp?) (owner)! The garlic knots are a must!

As a bonus, Papa Angelo’s serves beer from my favorite local brewery, Broke Brewing!

I don’t normally choose Canadian Bacon, but it’s my first choice here, with their special jalapenos!

Edited: We had the manicotti, and it was absolutely out of this world!! The meatballs are amazing, too!

This place is so cool. Being from Ling Island the inside looks like you’ve stepped into another part of the country…not Bethany Oklahoma. The decor, the smell, it’s very NY authentic. The flavors of the pizza are great. We’ve been coming here for years. The difference I saw in this visit was the sausage. They used to use more of a sliced sausage…like pepperoni. Now it’s sausage crumbles. Still tasted good I just really like the old sausage better. Couldn’t get that anywhere around here.
