The buffet is extensive and everything I’ve tried tastes great. But that açaí….its the best açaí I’ve had in Massachusetts.
Update 11/9: This place is a hidden gem. I’ll drive the 20 minutes on any given day for this quality.
I originally came here just for the açaí bowl- so fresh and creamy, with a refreshing berry flavor, and that pure joy of digging into milk powder and condensed milk : ) I also tried their buffet and bakery items — both are fantastic!
They have a very eclectic buffet. They have everything.
But I have to tell you that they have this dessert. It’s unbelievable delicious.
There’s no other place I’ve ever had that has this, and I would describe it as a spongy soft moist cake. This really light textured mouse and chocolate. It is a TEN. 10!
I usually come here with my sisters, and on one visit we were given a bag to carry our food. While walking to the parking lot right outside the entrance, the bag tore completely. Our drinks spilled, the food fell onto the ground, and what was left was soaked. When we came back to explain what happened, an employee did offer to replace the drink, but said the food could not be remade—even after clearly seeing the ripped bag and the food spilled in the parking lot. That was really disappointing.
On a different visit, I stopped in to grab a quick meal. My card declined, and instead of handling the situation privately and with understanding, the employee discussed it openly with another worker. I was told I needed to call someone to pay or the food would be thrown away. What hurt the most was when he then asked my younger sister—who was visiting me from foster care—if she could pay for my food. That moment was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing, and it crossed a line.
I understand concerns about food waste, and I truly respect that, but the way this was handled lacked empathy and professionalism. I’m doing the best I can while taking on adult responsibilities and trying to support my younger siblings, and that interaction left me feeling judged instead of understood.
This has been one of the few places I could afford to bring my sisters, and it meant something to us. While the food is wonderful, I don’t feel comfortable returning unless there is more care, compassion, and professionalism shown to customers.
The only problem was that the 2ND pastel was not only also RAW but half empty!!! The owner was so so nice and gave me a full refund.. Hopefully they take this and moving forward can better the quality.
The atmosphere is wonderfully chill and relaxing, with a vibrant buzz of background noise that creates a fun environment for chatting with friends about anything and everything. I truly felt at home.
Additionally, the pricing is extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality of the dishes. After indulging in this nourishing and satisfying food, I felt as if my heart had been reborn. I can’t wait to return!
In fact, I’m tempted to redirect the funds I had set aside for airfare to Brazil and instead regularly indulge in the culinary delights at this amazing bakery. Why take a long flight only to endure subpar American airplane food before being pleasantly culture shocked in Brazil when I can enjoy the flavors of Brazil and immerse myself in its culture right here? Pão Brasil Bakery has won my heart, and I plan to visit a million times.
